Pierre 60, Winner 55 (OT) 

WINNER — Pierre clipped Winner in an overtime boys basketball game on Tuesday.

Pierre’s Luke Olson finished with 18 points. Dawson Getz added 15 points, while Jett Zabel had 14 points and 10 boards. Cade Kaiser had seven points. 

Winner’s Aiden Barfuss posted 23 points, while Shawn Hammerbeck added 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. Carter Craven scored eight points and seven rebounds. 


Bridgewater-Emery 59, Ethan 51 (2OT) 

ETHAN — Bridgewater-Emery outlasted Ethan in a double-overtime boys basketball game on Tuesday.

Bridgewater-Emery’s Holden Wollmann finished with 19 points, while Ben Weber added 16 points. Jase Kayser scored 15 points.

For Ethan, Braedon Nebelsick scored 23 points and Taite Klumb added 14 points. Drake Gustafson posted seven points. 


De Smet 56, Howard 46

HOWARD — Class B No. 2 De Smet held off Howard for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

De Smet’s George Jensen finished with 23 points and hit three 3-pointers. Grant Wilkinson added 16 points. Kadyn Fast and Britt Carlson scored eight points apiece. 

For Howard, Kolt Koepsell scored 16 points and Luke Koepsell added 12 points. Carson Hinker scored seven points and Taiden Hoyer added six points. Colby Claussen scored five points. 


Castlewood 66, Clark/Willow Lake 47

CASTLEWOOD — Bryon Laue powered Class B No. 1 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Laue finished with 28 points, 13 rebounds, six dunks and five blocked shots for the Warriors. Lane Tvedt added 12 points, while Jamison Keszler added 11 points. Brody Bass scored eight points, while Luke Baumberger had five points. Quincy Thu posted 10 rebounds and two points.

For CWL, Emmerson Larson finished with 16 points. Sullivan Felberg added nine points. Bo Begeman and Aaron Zemlicka scored eight points apiece. Griffen Musser had five points. 


Red Cloud 70, Lakota Tech 66

PINE RIDGE — Red Cloud outlasted Lakota Tech for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Red Cloud’s Josh Anderson netted 30 points and hit nine 3-pointers.

For Lakota Tech, Gilbert White scored 27 points.


Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 65, Crow Creek 55 

STEPHAN — Cheyenne-Eagle Butte pulled past Crow Creek for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

CEB’s Easton Lawrence scored 17 points, while Damien Clown totaled 10 points.

For Crow Creek, Josiah Kirkie scored 15 points. 

 

Faulkton Area 59, Highmore-Harrold 48 

HIGHMORE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Faulkton Area to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Faulkton Area’s Layne Cotton finished with 20 points and five rebounds. Spencer Melius posted 14 points, five rebounds and five steals. Gian DiMaria had 10 points. Charlie Dieter added seven points and nine rebounds. Gus Kopecky posted six points.

For Highmore-Harrold, Trake Cowan finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Carson Stephenson posted 12 points and four assists. Caleb Roth logged 11 points and six rebounds.

 

Kimball/White Lake 47, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 45

KIMBALL — Kimball/White Lake clipped Sanborn Central/Woonsocket for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

KWL’s Blake Leiferman finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Hudson Heath posted seven points and three rebounds. Lantz Bass added six points.

For SCW, Trey Moody recorded 12 points and five rebounds. Jeff Boschee added 11 points and McCoy Schulz had nine points.


Warner 59, Hitchcock-Tulare 49 

TULARE — Warner held off Hitchcock-Tulare for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Warner’s Hunter Cramer finished with 23 points, while Brodey Sauerwein added 18 points. Zach Evans had eight points and Drew Bakeberg scored six points.

For HT, Jackson Maynard finished with 17 points and Devin Enander had 13 points. Erik Salmen finished with seven points and Patrick Maynard had six points 


Leola-Frederick Area 59, North Central 28 

EUREKA — Leola-Frederick Area improved to 9-0 with a boys basketball win over North Central on Tuesday.

Leola-Frederick Area’s Noah Kippley finished with 21 points, while Brayden Sumption added 10 points. Westyn Thorpe scores six points. 

For North Central, Raynor Sprague and Cole Beitelspacher scored five points apiece. 


Wilmot 43, Britton-Hecla 40 

BRITTON — Wilmot clipped Britton-Hecla in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Wilmot’s Keitrick Genia scored 11 points, while Jaxen Dockter scored eight points. 

For Britton-Hecla, Ty Fagerland finished with 20 points and three 3-pointers. Jaxon Zuehlke had 13 points 


Deuel 62, Arlington 37

CLEAR LAKE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Deuel to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Deuel’s Trey Maaland finished with 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals. Troy Jenson had 14 points, while Gabe Sather posted 10 points and six rebounds. 

For Arlington, Paxton Rheault had 15 points and 11 rebounds. 


Mitchell 67, Huron 56

MITCHELL — Class AA No. 2 Mitchell picked up a boys basketball win over Huron on Tuesday. 

Mitchell’s Colton Smith finished with 20 points. Markus Talley and Gavin Soukup scored 15 points apiece. Parker Mandel scored seven points and Landen Soulek added six points. Talley added five rebounds and four assists. 

For Huron, Blake Ellwein netted 15 points and Gavin Moeding had 14 points. C.J. Gainey scored 12 points and Carsen Evans added 11 points.
