TYNDALL — At Monday’s Bon Homme Invitational, the Kimball/White Lake girls claimed the girls team title at the Bon Homme Country Club. 

The WiLdKat girls scored 24 points, ahead of Hartington-Newcastle, Nebraska (36) and Scotland (64).  

KWL’s Autumn Baker (20:52) was the top South Dakota finisher and second overall behind Niobrara/Verdigre, Nebraska’s Delani Runnels (20:39). 

Gayville-Volin’s Jolie Westrum (22:05) finished fourth, ahead of Kimball/White Lake’s Lily Baker (22:08) and Gregory’s Asia VanDerWerff (22:29).

Monday’s race was just another day at the office for Freeman Academy/Marion’s Tavin Schroeder. Schroeder posted a time of 17:49.82, edging teammate Finley McConniel (18:00) and Boyd County, Nebraska’s Will Nelson (18:36). Kimball/White Lake’s Park Sinclair was the next South Dakota finisher, sixth with a time of 19:14.
