Sioux Valley 16, Redfield Area 3 (5 innings)

REDFIELD — Sioux Valley scored all 16 runs in one inning to blow out Redfield Area in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Isaac Skovlund had four RBIs on two hits, including a triple, Maxwell Jennen added three RBIs on two hits, Marcus Olson and Bret Milton each had two RBIs on one hit, Kellon Tucker tallied two RBIs while Damon Uecker had an RBI-walk in the win.

Uecker took the win on the mound in four innings pitched, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks, striking out six.

For RA, Micah Zastrow allowed 14 runs on four hits and four walks in 1.1 innings.

Aiden Frankenstein tallied two RBIs on two doubles while Jackson Rude added an RBI on a hit in the loss.


Winner/Colome 10, Elk Point-Jefferson 3

ELK POINT — Winner/Colome collected 10 hits as the Royals beat Elk Point-Jefferson in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Camdyn Anderson tallied three RBIs on a double, Carter McKenzie and Cooper Craven added two hits and an RBI, Adryan Brandis had three hits and an RBI while Quincy Phillips had an RBI-single in the win.

Brandis took the win on the mound in five innings of work, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks, striking out two.

For EPJ, Luke Swatek allowed 10 runs on 10 hits and five walks in a complete game, striking out one.

Brody Van Roekel had three walks and an RBI while Kamden Ellison collected two RBIs on a hit in the loss.


Rapid City Christian 10, Belle Fourche 8

RAPID CITY — A three-run sixth-inning pushed Rapid City Christian over Belle Fourche in high school baseball action Saturday.

Vander Von Eye and Sam Torsden each had two hits and an RBI, Turner Tonkel and Joe Pfannenstein each had two hits, Patrick Pfannenstein and Jackson Winter each added an RBI on one hit while Will Thompson and Joe Samuelson each drove in a run in the win.

Tordsen tossed 4.1 shutout innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out two.

For BF, Tate Thomsen allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks, striking out six.

Trig Thomsen tallied three RBIs on two hits, Caeyn Howard added two RBIs on a hit and a walk, Tate Thomsen tallied two hits, Urijah Hamilton recorded two hits and an RBI while Raif Parmeter recorded three walks and an RBI in the loss.


Redfield Area 11, Elkton-Lake Benton 1 (6 innings)

REDFIELD — Chace Odland struck out nine batters as Redfield Area rolled past Elkton-Lake Benton in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Odland allowed one unearned run on one hit and three walks in five innings, striking out nine in the win.

Noah Johnson and Odland each had two hits and an RBI, including a triple by Johnson, while Zach Bonin and Hudson Binger each had an RBI on one hit in the win.

For ELB, Eliot Erickson allowed six runs on three hits and six walks in two innings, striking out four.

Wyatt Osland had the lone hit of the game for ELB in the loss.


Madison/Chester 9, Groton Area 3

MADISON — JD Prorok struck out 15 batters as Madison/Chester defeated Groton Area in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Prorok allowed one run on three hits and a walk in six innings of work, striking out 15 in the win.

Tregg McGillivray had three RBIs on a double, Darwin Corrales Gonzalez tallied two RBIs on a double and three walks, Quincy Kurt collected two hits while Casyn Crabtree and Braylon Oftedal each had an RBI on a hit in the win.

For GA, Alex Abeln took the loss, allowing seven runs on four hits and nine walks in 2.2 innings, striking out six.

TC Schuster had two RBIs on a hit while Gavin Englund added an RBI on one hit in the loss.


Madison/Chester 4, Groton Area 0

MADISON — Braylon Oftedal struck out nine batters as Madison/Chester swept Groton Area in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Oftedal allowed eight hits in seven shutout innings, striking out nine in the win.

Cohen Hahn and Ethan Sims each had two hits and an RBI, Casyn Crabtree added an RBI on one hit while Quincy Kurtz collected two hits in the win.

For Groton Area, Jarrett Erdmann allowed four unearned runs on nine hits and two walks in 6.2 innings, striking out 11.

Lincoln Krause had three hits in the loss for the Tigers.


West Central 11, Dell Rapids 6

HUMBOLDT — Beckett Everson and CJ Den Boer drove in six runs as West Central took down Dell Rapids in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Everson drove in three runs on two hits, a homer, and two walks, Den Boer added three RBIs on a hit and a walk, Nick Lorang had two RBIs on a hit and a walk while JT Steckley and Eli Koehn each had an RBI on two hits and a walk in the win.

Koehn took the win on the mound in 1.2 innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits and two walks, striking out one.

For DR, Charlie Bollock allowed nine runs on six hits and a walk in one inning in the loss.

Kenny Swanson had three RBIs on a homer and a walk while Jackson Peppel recorded two doubles and an RBI in the loss.


Milbank 14, Colman-Egan/Flandreau 4 (5 innings)

MILBANK — Milbank scored all 14 runs in one inning to roll past Colman-Egan/Flandreau in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Kaleb Lindstrom and Aiden Kelly each had two hits and three RBIs, Tyler Heinje and Mason Allen each had a hit and two RBIs, Zack Karges tallied two hits, a double, and two RBIs, while Jaxson Wiese added an RBI-walk in the win.

Kelly took the win on the mound in four innings of work, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks, striking out eight.

For CEF, Trevor Peters allowed four runs on a hit and two walks in 0.1 innings in the loss.

PIERRE — Noah Kuenzi tallied three RBIs as Sioux Falls Jefferson clipped Pierre in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Kuenzi batted 1-for-4 with a three-RBI-double in the win while Noah Grabow added an RBI-single in the win.

Everett Salonen took the win on the mound in five innings of work, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks, striking out six.

For Pierre, Carter Templeton allowed five runs on six hits and three walks in 6.1 innings, striking out four.

Carter Schiefelbein had two hits, one triple, Porter Hunsley added an RBI on two walks while Bridger Babcock had two RBIs on a hit in the loss.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 5, Pierre 1

PIERRE — Caden Voss tossed seven strong innings to help Sioux Falls Jefferson sweep Pierre in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Voss allowed one run on four hits in seven innings of work, striking out eight in the win.

Brody Jacobson batted 3-for-4 with two RBIs while Cason Mediger added two hits, a double, homer and a walk, driving in two runs for the Cavs.

For Pierre, Will Danburg allowed five runs on six hits and four walks in seven innings, striking out five.

Danburg added two hits while Carter Schiefelbein tallied an RBI-single in the loss.


Brandon Valley 15, Huron 0 (3 innings)

BRANDON — Brandon Valley erupted for 16 hits as the Lynx blew out Huron in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Maxwell Peters tallied three hits and four RBIs in the win, Caleb Severin added two hits, a triple, and three RBIs, Brayden Knutson collected two RBIs on two hits, Bryce Plucker, Ryan Fenton and Jack Blomgren each had two hits and an RBI, Grady Gindorff totaled two RBIs on a hit and a walk while Mason Veld added an RBI on one hit in the win.

Blomgren tossed a three-inning no-hitter for the Lynx, allowing one walk while striking out seven in 40 pitches.

For Huron, Tommie Martin allowed 11 runs on 11 hits and a walk in two innings, striking out one.


Brandon Valley 10, Huron 0 (5 innings)

BRANDON — Brandon Valley pounded out 11 hits as the Lynx blanked Huron in high school baseball action Saturday.

Brayden Knutson had three hits, a double, and two RBIs, Bryce Plucker tallied two hits, a double and a homer, totaling two RBIs, Cooper Ness had two RBIs on a double, Taylor Melby had two hits and an RBI, Caleb Severin totaled two hits while Maxwell Peters and Mason Veld each drove in a run in the win.

Archer Johnson took the win on the mound in two shutout innings pitched, striking out four.

For Huron, Nolan Stahly allowed 10 runs on 11 hits and three walks in 4.1 innings, striking out three.

Zach Scheer and Chase Schuchhardt each tallied a hit in the loss.


Watertown 15, Sioux Falls Washington 0 (4 innings)

WATERTOWN — Ashton Rabine tossed four shutout innings as Watertown rolled past Sioux Falls Washington in the first game of a high school baseball doubleheader Saturday.

Rabine allowed one hit and five walks in four innings, striking out eight in the win.

Jaxon Falak had three RBIs on a double and a walk, Carter Buisker added three RBIs on two hits, Jackson McClemans recorded two RBIs, Markus Pitkin had two RBIs on a double and two walks while Jonathan Lake, Sam Olson, Kye Paulson and Cain Everson each drove in a run on one hit in the win.

For Washington, Sajen Haas allowed 10 runs on seven hits and four walks in two innings, striking out two.

Caden Sporrer tallied the lone hit in the loss.


Watertown 9, Sioux Falls Washington 8

WATERTOWN — A walk-off sac-fly powered Watertown over Sioux Falls Washington in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Jonathan Lake had three hits and an RBI, Cole Hansen, Markus Pitkin and Carter Buisker each had two hits and an RBI, Sam Olson tallied an RBi on two walks, Kooper Heiser had two RBIs while Maxx Sears tallied an RBI on one hit in the win.

Buisker took the win on the mound in one shutout inning, allowing one hit and two walks.

For Washington, Paxton Olson allowed one run on one hit and one walk in 0.1 innings in the loss.

Caleb Bumann had four RBIs on a homer and a walk, Brekken Biteler tallied three hits, a double, and an RBI, Caden Sporrer and Kylar White each had two hits and an RBI while Tyler Ringheimer added two hits in the loss.

Nolan Krogman led the Bobcats with a grand slam driving in four runs, Nolan Wagner had three RBIs on two hits and an RBI, Noah Lease added two RBIs on two hits and a walk, Baker Hanson had two hits and an RBI while Jase Bauer, Talon Hyde and Jay Harris each drove in two runs on one hit in the win.

Hyde took the win on the mound in three innings of work, allowing one run on four hits while striking out one.

For Aberdeen, Benny Eisenbeisz took the loss in 2.1 innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and a walk, striking out two.

Will Haskell drove in the lone run on one hit in the loss.

BROOKINGS — Brookings pounded out 11 hits and 11 walks as the Bobcats swept Aberdeen in high school baseball action on Saturday.

Baker Hanson had three hits, a walk, and two RBIs, Andrew Heinze added three RBIs on two hits and two walks, Ryder Anderson, Jase Baauer, Tre Christopherson and Jay Harris each drove in two runs on one hit, Nolan Krogman and Talon Hyde each had an RBI on a combined four walks while Ben Schulte collected two hits in the win.

Cooper Schneider took the win on the mound in 3.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits.

For Aberdeen, Jackson Post allowed eight runs on four hits and two walks in 1.2 innings in the loss.
