STURGIS — Sturgis Brown’s Levi Brant notched a meet record at Saturday’s Black Hills Track Classic.

Brant tossed a new meet record of 158-03 to win the javelin throw.

In the boys meet, Rapid City Stevens’ Nolan Long won the 100-meter dash (:11.06) and took second in the 200-meter dash (:22.12).

Stevens’ Jack Day won the 110-meter hurdles (:14.54) while Blake Swanson captured the 300-meter hurdles (:41.01) for the Raiders.

Sturgis Brown’s Seth Burton captured the 200-meter dash (:22.04).

Hill City’s Dax Frandsen secured the 400-meter dash (:50.23) while teammate Tate Grabow won the 800-meter dash with a meet record time (1:54.86).

SB’s Quinn Bruch won the 1,600-meter run (4:22.39).

Rapid City Central’s Coy Urban, Brayden Jackson, Sean Smith and Onzei Weaver won the 400-meter relay (:43.26).

SB’s Jude Legner, Ephraim Brant, Mason Venjohn and Burton won the 800-meter relay (1:29.51) and the 1,600-meter relay (3:23.87).

Phillips’ Creston Burns, Jack Peterson, Davis McKinley and Baylor Burns won the 3,200-meter relay (8:12.29).

RCC’s Devin Soderlin, Alex Vermundson, Teotl Watters and Samuel Sheehy captured the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:45.25).

In the field events, Belle Fourche’s Gabe Raba won the discus throw (156-04).

Douglas’ Brodie Slancauskas won the pole vault title (14-00).

St. Thomas More’s Max Speed secured the shot put event (50-06.25).

RCC’s Urban won the high jump (6-07) and long jump event (20-11.00).

RC Stevens’ Jace Gingras won the triple jump title (43-10.25).

On the girls’ side, Sturgis Brown’s Kaylie Theberge won the 100-meter dash (:12.24).

Rapid City Stevens’ Maya Khachikian captured the 100-meter hurdles (:14.86). Stevens’ Ella Bradeen took the 200-meter dash (:25.12) while Viona Sietsema added a top spot in the 3,200-meter run for the Raiders.

Rapid City Central’s Claire Hasse won the 300-meter hurdles (:45.97).

Hot Springs’ Ashlynn Elshere captured the 400-meter dash (:58.51).

Spearfish’s Kori Keil won the 800-meter run (2:18.74) while teammate Peyton VanDeest ran a meet record to win the 1,600-meter run (4:55.22).

RC Stevens’ Khachikian, Riley Willet, Ava Holzwarth and Bradeen won the 800-meter relay in a meet record time of 1:41.94.

Spearfish’s Daniela Rodriguez, Marley Mosset, Auna Taglioli and VanDeest won the 1,600-meter relay while Lauryn Donovan, Sophia Hatleli, Avery Rauterkus and Maddy Campbell won the 3,200-meter relay (10:31.00) for the Spartans.

Hill City’s Alaina Dean, Eden Wildeman, Andee Frandsen and Daril Frandsen captured the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (4:24.89).

In the field events, Custer’s Karyn Ellerton won the discus throw (130-00).

Stevens’ Clare Ashley tossed a meet record to win the javelin throw (117-01).

Spearfish’s Laila Ratzsch won the pole vault title with a meet record height of 12-00.

Hill City’s Lillie Ham won the high jump event (5-03) while teammate Alaina Dean secured the triple jump event (35-03.00).

Stevens’ Holzwarth captured the long jump (18-06.50).
