Bon Homme 19, Wagner 2

TYNDALL — A big day from Olivia Bures helped Bon Homme cruise past Wagner in girls softball action Thursday. 

Bures scored four runs with four hits and five RBI.  Olivia Kaul scored three runs on three hits while driving in a run and Nevaeh Myers scored two runs on three hits while driving in three runs. Kenadee Kozak picked up the win going five innings while giving up one hit and two runs. 

Braxton Nedved picked up the only hit for Wagner while also scoring a run. Libby Kotab drew a walk and scored the other Wagner run. 

Bon Homme 10, Avon 0

TYNDALL — The Bon Homme bats produced seven hits on their way to a win over Avon in Thursday softball action. 

Olivia Bures led the way scoring four runs on one hit while driving in three runs. Taycee Ranek drove in three runs on one hit while scoring a run and Olivia Kaul scored two runs and managed two hits. Kennadi Kozak notched the win giving up three hits and no runs.

For Avon, Jordan Voigt, Macy Voigt and Abby Gretschmann each had hits for the Pirates. Rilyn Thury took the loss going sx innings while giving up six hits and six runs. 

Aberdeen Central 8, Mobridge-Pollock 4

ABERDEEN — The Aberdeen Central girls pounded out seven hits on their way to a win over Mobridge-Pollock in girls softball action Thursday. 

For Aberdeen Central, Kylee Hoffman scored a run, had two hits and drove in a run. Avery Bendewald managed two hits and drove in a run while Reece Comstock scored a run with two hits and an RBI.  Kaylee Kiesow picked up the win going seven innings, giving up seven hits and four runs. 

For Mobridge-Pollock, Jacy Netterville scored a run on one hit. Sophia Overland scored one run on one hit while driving in two runs. Grace Overland took the loss going four innings, walking four batters and giving up eight runs. 

Aberdeen Central 11, Mobridge-Pollock 6

ABERDEEN — Three players scored two runs apiece as Aberdeen Central ran past Mobridge-Pollock in girls softball action Thursday. 

Avery Bendewald scored two runs with one hit and one run driven in. Addyson Keller and Reece Comstock combined to score four runs on three hits while driving in three runs. Kylee Hoffman picked up the win going five innings while giving up five hits and six runs. 

Sophia Overland led Mobridge-Pollock scoring one run on one hit while driving in three runners. Jacy Netterville scored two runs on one hit for the Tigers. 

Gayville-Volin 9, Vermillion 8 (Eight innings)

GAYVILLE — A big afternoon from Maia Achen helped Gayville-Volin hold off Vermillion in girls softball action Thursday. 

Achen scored three runs with four hits and an RBI.  Paisley Dimmer scored two runs on two hits while also driving in a run. Hailey Adams had two hits and drove in two runs. Ayla Dimmer picked up the win going eight innings, giving up 14 hits and eight runs. 

Chandler Cleveland led Vermillion scoring two runs, punching out two hits and driving in two runs. Makenzie Richardson scored a run, had two hits and drove in two runs. Mya Halverson took the loss going 21/3 innings, giving up eight hits and six runs.
