GETTYSBURG — McLaughlin’s Wamni Kills Crow and Ipswich’s Madisyn Gellhaus each won titles at Saturday’s Battler Invitational run at the Gettysburg Country Club. 

Kills Crow won the race in 16:41, ahead of North Central’s Gabe Johnson (16:48) and Faulkton Area’s Korbin Stark 17:04). Highmore-Harrold’s Brooks McPeak (17:29) and Herreid/Selby Area’s Gavin Hirsch (17:37) rounded out the top-five finishers. 

The Warner girls won the team race with eight points, ahead of Potter County (18) and Faulkton Area (34).
