CORSICA — The Corsica-Stickney girls and Mount Vernon/Plankinton boys claimed team titles at Tuesday’s Jaguar Invitational. 

The Corsica-Stickney girls totaled 103 points, followed by Burke (82) and Mount Vernon/Plankinton (74). MVP boys recorded 116 points, followed by Gregory (108) and Hanson (67). 

On the boys side, MVP’s Riley Mayer won the 400-meter dash (:52.50) and the discus throw (127-11).  MVP’s Hudson Schmidt won the 800-meter run (2:13.94) and 3,200-meter run (11:36.81). MVP’s Cole Sandland won the 110-meter hurdles (:16.38), 300-meter hurdles (:44.77) and placed second in the triple jump (39-4.5).  

Hanson’s Cole Dewald won the 100-meter dash (:11.51), the 200-meter dash (:24.13) and placed second in the 400-meter dash (:52.57). 

Gregory’s Dylan Johnson, David Biggins, Eli Ekroth and Mason Janak won the 400-meter relay (:47.84). 

Pierce Stukel, Colt Keiser, Biggins and Landon Keiser won the 800-meter relay (1:32.89). Landon Keiser, Colt Keiser, Stukel and Luke Barreto won the sprint medley relay (3:47.67). 

Gregory’s Avery Sengelmann won the high jump (6-2). 

Wessington Springs’ Max Mebius, Carson Finn, Will Grohs and Logan Mebius won the 1,600-meter relay (3:43.92). Grady Gran won the shot put (41-5.75) for the Spartans. Wessington Springs’ Sutten Jensen won the 1,600-meter run (5:12.63). 

Corsica-Stickney’s Reed Woerner, Ethan Vanden Hoek, Wyatt Timmermans and Sawyer Schmidt won the 3,200-meter relay (9:08.25). Charlie Lefers won the javelin throw (132-7) for the Jaguars. 

Andes Central/Dakota Christian’s Jamian Medicine Horn won the long jump (19-9) and teammate Isaiah Milk won the triple jump (39-11). 

On the girls side, Corsica-Stickney’s Braylee Bordewyk won the 400-meter dash (1:01.17). Corsica-Stickney’s Daryan DeVries won the shot put (33-8.5). Corsica-Stickney’s Sophie DeLange won the high jump (4-10). 

Gregory’s Abby Holmes won the 100-meter dash (:13.62). Gregory’s Dani VanDerWerff won the javelin (118-8). 

Burke’s Breckynn Pistulka won the 200-meter dash (:27.13) and placed second in the 400-meter dash (1:02.46). 

Tripp-Delmont/Armour’s Jordan Chessmore won the 800-meter run (2:40.43) and 3,200-meter run (13:19.55). 

MVP’s Suri Schmidt won the 1,600-meter run (5:35.11). MVP’s Brooklyn Bosma won the 100-meter hurdles (:17.04) and MVP’s Abigail Engelland won the 300-meter hurdles (:50.40). 

Engelland, Aspen Bosma, Schmidt and Sammi Eide teamed up to win the 1,600-meter relay (4:20.99). 

Hanson’s Ella Jager, Lacey Easton, Brooklynn Schroeder and Hannah Easton won the 400-meter relay (:53.68). 

Wolsey-Wessington’s Kendal Uttecht, Danika Peterson, Shae Uttecht and Abby Huntsinger won the 800-meter relay (1:53.07). Peterson, Uttecht, Huntsinger and Kendal Uttecht won the sprint medley relay (4:30.14). Payton Peterson won the discus for the Warbirds with a toss of 97-1. 

Burke’s Trystan Johnson won the long jump (15-7). 

TDA’s Lyndsey Chessmore won the triple jump (33-2.75) and placed second in the long jump (15-6.5).
