EUREKA — North Central swept team titles at Monday’s Eureka Lions Club track and field meet. 

The North Central girls racked up 216 points, finishing ahead of Herreid/Selby Area (180) and South Border, North Dakota (104). The North Central boys finished ahead of Herreid/Selby Area and South Border.

In boys action, North Central’s Raynor Sprague won the 200-meter dash (:24.41), 400-meter dash (:53.08) and placed second in the triple jump (36-3.5).  

North Central’s Gabe Johnson captured first place in the 1,600-meter run (4:58.04) and 3,200-meter run (10:46.57). North Central’s Timothy Rucker won the high jump (5-6) and triple jump (39-1), while teammate Kobe Wherry won the pole vault (9-6). 

The North Central boys won the 400-meter relay, 1,600-meter relay (3:56.22), 3,200-meter relay (8:54.00).

The Mobridge-Pollock boys won the 800-meter relay (1:36.56) and sprint medley relay (3:49.14). 

Herreid/Selby Area’s Matthew Neeley won the 100-meter dash (:12.12) and placed third in the 200-meter dash (:24.62). 

Herreid/Selby Area’s Keegan Russel won the 800-meter run (2:14.98), finished fourth in the 3,200-meter run (12:17.86) and placed fifth in the 1,600-meter run (5:10.87). 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Carter Hinsz won the shot put (43-11.75).

In girls action, North Central’s Kaidence Bulgin won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.62) and 300-meter hurdles (:51.16). North Central’s Amree Vander Vorst won the javelin (86-4). 

North Central’s Carleigh Dosch won the pole vault (8-6) 

The North Central girls also won the 1,600-meter relay (4:35.51) and sprint medley relay (5:35.64). 

Herreid/Selby Area’s Breanna Jochim won the 100-meter dash (:12.95) and long jump (16-8), while she ran on the winning 400-meter relay (:52.08) and winning 800-meter relay (1:50.21). The HSA girls also won the 3,200-meter relay (11:04.76). 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Ryli Thompson won the 200-meter dash (:26.35), 400-meter dash (1:00.77) and placed second in the 100-meter dash (:13.00). 

HSA’s Jentry Hubner won the 800-meter run (2:53.21) and teammate Katie Albee won the 1,600-meter run (6:01.77). HSA’s Mya Ebel won the shot put (31-7), discus (116-4) and placed second in the javelin (84-3). 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Heidi Olson won the 3,200-meter run (11:33.26) and North Central’s Lindsey Geier won the triple jump (34-6).
