SIOUX FALLS — The Sioux Falls Christian girls left no doubt they are the best Class A girls golf team repeating as Class A team champions in decisive fashion Tuesday at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls. 

The Charger girls (+66) were 32 strokes better than second place Vermillion (+98) and West Central (+126). Madison (+128) and St. Thomas More (+161) rounded out the top-five teams.

After Monday’s first round, St. Thomas More’s Katlin Strain found herself atop the leaderboard, tied with Sioux Falls Christian’s Tori Peterson. All told seven girls were within two shots of the lead. Strain shot the low round of the day Tuesday (75) and finished with 152, two strokes in front of Peterson.
