DELL RAPIDS — The Vermillion High School boys golf team claimed the team title at Monday’s Dell Rapids Invitational.

The Tanagers carded a 319 at Rocky Run Golf Course, finishing ahead of second-place finishers West Central and Sioux Falls Christian. Dakota Valley (333) and Chamberlain (342) finished fourth and fifth, respectively. 

Sioux Falls Christians’s Eli Anema fired an even-par 71, finishing three shots ahead of Chamberlain’s Dakota Munger (74). Elk Point-Jefferson’s Carter Langle, West Central’s Kamden Zomer, West Central’s Anthony Lanham and Vermillion’s Carter Hansen tied for third place with 77s.
