Warner's Hunter Cramer named Lake Region Conference offensive MVP

Two nine-man football state finalists — Warner and Faulkton Area — headline this year’s all-Lake Region Conference football team. 

Warner, which won the Class 9A state championship, landed eight total players on the all-conference team. Faulkton, the Class 9B runner-ups, placed seven total players on the all-conference squad. 

Warner’s Hunter Cramer was selected as offensive MVP, while Faulkton Area’s Charlie Deiter was named defensive MVP. 

Warner’s Cramer, Brody Sauerwein, Charlie Dulany, Preston Cavalier, Payton Volk, Jesiah Baum and Chays Mansfield were all-conference selections for the Monarchs. Devon Fischbach was an honorable mention selection. 

Faulkton Area’s Deiter, Garrett Cramer, Layne Cotton, Gus Kopecky, Carson Leonhard and Spencer Melius were all-conference members for the Trojans. Lincoln Dikoff was an honorable mention pick for the Trojans. 

For Leola-Frederick Area, McKinley Kosters, Austin Mantei, Connor Spitzer, Brayden Sumption and Gavin Nickelson were selected for the Titans. Levi Little was an honorable mention honoree. 

Ipswich’s Trevor Heinz, Chet Peterson, Max Kulesa and Kyle Hettich were all-conference selections. Casey Geditz was an honorable mention honoree. 

Northwestern’s Dustin Dirksen, Landon Braun and Dallas Stoltenberg were all-conference picks for the Wildcats.
