Winner's Bella Swedlund announces transfer to Toledo

Winner’s Bella Swedlund has announced her intentions to transfer to the University of Toledo. Swedlund recently announced her intentions to transfer from the University of Kansas, where she was a redshirt freshman women's basketball player. 

Swedlund was a redshirt freshman guard for the Jayhawks this season and entered the transfer portal with four years of eligibility left. 

Swedlund was a three-star prospect and the No. 25-ranked point guard in the class of 2022 by ESPN.com. She finished her career as Winner’s all-time leading scorer with 2,256 career points. She was also the school’s all-time leader in single-season points, career three-pointers and threes in a season, while she was second all-time in rebounds and assists.

She was a multiple all-state selection and member of teams that have won five conference championships and the 2019 Class A State Championship.
