With the 800-meter run being the featured event for the boys at the 2025 Howard Wood Dakota Relays, Rapid City Stevens senior Biles Brekhus has set the early-season bar.

Brekhus has the fastest time in South Dakota (1:55.70) in that 800-meter run. Brekhus has a season's best of 4:24.51 in the 1,600-meter run.
