RAPID CITY — Four Pierre girls advanced to the finals as the Governors appear to be primed for a 4-peat at the state wrestling tournament in Rapid City. 

Through two days of the state tournament Pierre has scored 120.5 points, ahead of Canton (92) and Harrisburg (86). Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon (78) and Watertown (78) round out the top-five teams. 

Pierre’s semifinalists are Dani Ringstmeyer (126),  Kezrey Benning (138), Ireland Templeton (145) and Abbigail Lewis (152).
