RAPID CITY — Sioux Falls O’Gorman and Brandon Valley have again separated themselves from the Class AA girls basketball pack. 

The Knights and Lynx have played in the past two Class AA state championships, with O’Gorman winning each time. 

O’Gorman and Brandon Valley appear on a collision course for another title tilt this season in Rapid City.

Brandon Valley is the No. 1 seed and will play No. 8 Tea Area at 11 a.m., MT in the opener. No. 4 Rapid City Stevens plays No. 5 Aberdeen Central at 12:45 p.m. In the night session, No. 2 O’Gorman plays No. 7 Mitchell at 5 p.m., and No. 3 Washington plays No. 6 Jefferson at 6:45 p.m.


Brandon Valley 

Record: 21-0

Coach: Mike Zerr

Key players: Alyvia Padgett (26 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 2.9 apg, 3.2 spg), Ava Kellenberger (9.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.5 apg, 3.2 spg), Gracie Salter (12.2 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.8 apg, 2.5 spg, 1.7 bpg).
