WATERTOWN — Seeded No. 2 the Canton C-Hawks rolled through Saturday’s Class B state dual tournament defeating Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall Badlands Brawlers 45-16 in the championship match. 

The C-Hawks repeated as Class B state champions and have won four of the last five since the state dual tournaments resumed in 2020.

Canton defeated Miller/Highmore-Harrold 66-12 in their opening dual and then defeated Bon Homme 54-14 in their semifinal dual. In their final dual against Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall Badlands Brawlers, Hunter Richmond (215) earned a clutch win over Jensen Fitch. The C-Hawks got pins from Traun Cook (285), Ashton Keller (138).

The Brawlers got wins from Tukker Boe (120), Kale Crowser (157), Burk Blasius (175) and Quinn Moon (190). 

Bon Homme/Avon edged Custer 35-31 to claim third place. Winner defeated Miller/Highmore-Harrold 37-26 to claim third place.
