YANKTON — Canton eighth-grader Finley Evjen improved her season record to 42-0 on her way to winning the 120 title at Friday’s Yankton Invitational. 

The Canton girls racked up 176.5 points, ahead of Pierre (161) and Watertown (133.5). Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon (110.5) and Rapid City Stevens (103.)

Evjen was the lone champion for the C-Hawks at Friday’s tournament. 

Watertown’s champions were Olivia Anderson (107), Allison Konrad (185) and Eden Hach (235). Pierre’s champions were Shaylee Speck (100), Dani Ringstmeyer (126) and Abbigail Lewis (152). 

Other championships were claimed by McCook Central/Montrose’s Alexis Bryant (114), Tea Area’s Lainey Haines (132), Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Jumah DuKuly (138), Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon’s Peyton Hellmann (145) and Harrisburg’s Rhiannen Heimdal (165).
