GREGORY — The Chamberlain High School cross-country teams swept titles at Tuesday’s Gregory Invitational. 

The Cub boys finished with 12 points, edging Gregory (14) for the team title. Wagner (22) and Platte-Geddes (34) finished third and fourth, respectively. The Chamberlain girls won the team title with six points. Andes Central/Dakota Christian (19) and Platte-Geddes (35) placed second and third, respectively.

Chamberlain’s Declan Tveit won the boys individual race, covering the 5,000-meter run in 18-minute and 20 seconds. Gregory’s Fin Adams took second in 18:52.94. Stuart, Nebraska’s Luke Ludwig (19:15.3), Gregory’s Luke Sinclair (19:35.15) and Wagner’s Lael Young (19:48.5) rounded out the top-five finishers. 

Chamberlain’s Kinsey Evans (19:22.53) and Allison Hough (20:26.03) placed first and second, respectively, in the girls individual race. Gregory’s Asia VanDerWerff (21:02.02), Chamberlain’s Kylah Biggins (21:12.58) and Chamberlain’s Aine Graesser (22:42.53) rounded out the top-five runners.
