STURGIS —- Defending Class A state wrestling champion Sturgis earns the top spot in the week 1 rankings. 

The Scoopers are projected to score 183 points, well ahead of Aberdeen Central (132) and Brandon Valley (130). Rapid City Stevens (118) and Watertown round out the list of top-five teams for week 1. 

Sturgis has ranked wrestlers in 13-of-14 weight classes with Tyler Baldwin (113) and Kelson Dirk (190) both earning top rankings in their respective weight classes.
