SIOUX FALLS — With the 2024 state track meet just a few days away here is a look at the Class AA state meet records. 

On the girl's side, Sioux Falls Washington senior Nyariek Kur looks to challenge the long jump record (18-10.75) of Rapid City Central’s Jasmyne King from 2008. Kur hasn’t crossed the 40-foot barrier in the triple jump but she could be ready to challenge the current meet record (40-3.75) of former Brookings standout Alexis Gannon from 1998.

On the boys side look for the 200-meter dash record (:21.71) to be challenged. In relay action look for the 400-meter relay record (:41.98) and 800-meter relay record (1:27.52) to both be challenged. 

The Brandon Valley girls could challenge the meet record (1:41.29) in the 800-meter relay, the 3,200-meter relay (9:07.03) and the sprint medley relay record (4:06.06)
