SPEARFISH — The Custer boys wrestling team won the Black Hills Conference championship Saturday.

The Wildcats scored 181 points to take the team title, ahead of Hot Springs (178.5), Belle Fourche (105.5), Spearfish (105) and Douglas/Rapid City Christian in the top-5.

Custer’s Cole Scott (106 pounds), Riley Trout (126 pounds), Bodie Vanderboom (138 pounds) and Riley Scott (150 pounds) all won individual titles for the Wildcats.

The other individual titles include Hot Springs’ Hazen Rutz (113 pounds), Hot Springs’ Layton Ringstmeyer (120 pounds), Hot Springs’ John Ryder Weiss (132 pounds), St. Thomas More’s Emmett Edwards (144 pounds), Belle Fourche’s Riley Dighton (157 pounds), Douglas/Rapid City Christian’s Paiden Sandal (165 pounds), Hot Springs’ Dean Nathan (175 pounds), Hot Springs’ Hunter Kunz (190 pounds), Hot Springs’ Von Mogen-Frankfort (215 pounds) and Belle Fourche’s Lucas Tonsager (285 pounds).
