Omaha Nation 55, Oelrichs 11

Two players reached double figures as the Omaha Nation girls earned a win on Wednesday’s opening day of the Lakota Nation Invitational. 

Maleah Miller finished with 20 points and eight rebounds. Janissa Whitewater finished with 17 points. 

Bethanie Lone Elk led Oelrichs with four points.

Santee 54, Tiospaye Topa 35

The Santee girls opened their 2021 Lakota Nation Invitational with a win on Challenge Day in Rapid City. 

Tierahnee Tuttle finished with 16 points to lead Santee. Hehaka Frazier finished with ten points while Octavia Bluebird notched 12 rebounds. 

Kaylynn Holy Bear led Tiospaye Topa with 17 points. 


Pine Ridge 71, Tiospa Zina 41

Pine Ridge had two players reach double figures while earning a win Wednesday at the Lakota Nation Invitational. 

Lolo Carlow led all scorers with 23 points. Tristiana Brewer finished with 17 points while also pulling down eight rebounds. 

Alexa Quinn led Tiospa Zina with 16 points and nine rebounds. Jaia Bursheim had ten for the Wambdi. 


White River 85, St. Francis Indian 25

The White River girls opened their 2021 Lakota Nation Invitational with a win at the Ice Arena. 

Maleighya Estes dropped 33 points to lead the Lady Tigers. Rhea Tucker had 13 points while Maleena Braved had nine points. 

Sharla Kills In Sight led St. Francis Indian with 11 points.
