Deuel, Florence-Henry lead all-Eastern Coteau Conference football selections

Deuel and Florence-Henry landed the most players on their respective all-Eastern Coteau Conference football teams. 

Deuel led the 11-man selections with seven total players, while Florence-Henry had six total players to lead the nine-man teams. 

Deuel’s Trey Maaland was the 11-man offensive MVP, while teammate Ronnie Begalka was the 11-man defensive MVP. Deuel’s Dustin Hourigan was the 11-man coach of the year. 

Florence-Henry’s Ashton Hanson was the nine-man offensive MVP, while Chase Kelly was the defensive MVP. Florence-Henry’s Travis Schmidt was the nine-man coach of the year. 

Deuel’s Ty Lovre, Trey Maaland and Copper Schiernbeck were also selected to the all-conference team. Damian Kluckman and Naethan Lovre were honorable mention selections. 

Clark/Willow Lake’s Trey Huber, Lucas Kannegieter, Avery Nichols and Zach Winter were selected to the 11-man all-conference squad. Cole Brenden and Mitchell Larson were honorable mention honorees. 

Webster Area’s Jaydon Keller, Caleb McGregor and Jacob Pereboom were 11-man all-conference picks. Brent Snaza was an honorable mention selection. 

Trey Jurgens and Logen Tomac were 11-man all-conference picks for Dakota Hills, while Brayden Ebben was an honorable mention pick. 

Florence-Henry’s Mehki Keller and Chase Kelly were also nine-man all-conference selections. Ethan Paulson and Clay Trupe were honorable mention picks.

Britton-Hecla’s Aidan Fredrickson, Gage Storley and Luke Storley were nine-man all-conference honorees. 

Thomas Erickson and R.J. Perry were nine-man all-conference selections for Great Plains Lutheran, while David Sell was an honorable mention pick. 

Waverly/South Shore’s Alex Pekelder was a nine-man all-conference honoree and Troy Kneeland was an honorable mention selection.
