Waubay-Summit 63, Estelline-Hendricks 46

ESTELLINE — Addison Heinje's 30-point performance powered Waubay-Summit over Estelline-Hendricks in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Heinje finished with 30 points for the Mustangs, Brynlee Amdahl and Caley Boik each had nine points while Liza Purdy netted five points in the win.

For EH, Halle IntVeld led with 14 points, Cambry Bury added nine points, Elyse Wegner had six points while Jade Callesen recorded five points in the loss.


Wagner 51, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 41

WOONSOCKET — Ashlyn Koupal’s double-double powered Class A No. 3 Wagner to a girls basketball win over Class B No. 9 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday.

Koupal finished with 36 points, 18 rebounds and four assists. Hannah Holzbauer and Braxton Nedved had six points and five rebounds apiece. 

For SCW, Liz Boschee finished with 19 points and seven rebounds. Kali Hofer added 12 points and four rebounds. 


Hamlin 50, Aberdeen Roncalli 36

HAYTI — Addison Neuendorf and Issie Steffensen powered Class A No. 2 Hamlin to a girls basketball win over Class A No. 9 Aberdeen Roncalli on Tuesday.

Neuendorf finished with 22 points and five 3-pointers. Steffensen added 19 points and three 3-pointers. 

For Roncalli, Claire Crawford finished with 10 points and Elyana Roach scored eight points. Rylee Voeller and Jillian Ellwein scored six points apiece.


Castlewood 42, Florence-Henry 32

CASTLEWOOD — A balanced scoring attack pushed Castlewood over Florence-Henry in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Bryn Schooley led the Warriors with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Ava Ruml added nine points and 12 boards, Cassidy Kirwan poured in seven points while Sophia Kudrna had six points and seven rebounds in the win.

For FH, Ashlynn Vavruska led with 17 points and seven rebounds.


Clark/Willow Lake 64, Britton-Hecla 24

CLARK — Four players scored in double figures to pace Class A No. 7 Clark/Willow Lake to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

CWL’s Shelby Begeman and Brynn Roehrich scored 12 points apiece. Begeman added nine rebounds and six assists. Johanna Vandersnick and Jenny Bevers scored 11 points apiece. Ella Sass added seven points and eight boards. Kamryn Nesheim had five points and four boards.

For BH, Chellon Pruitt had five points and nine rebounds. 


Freeman 52, Hanson 49

ALEXANDRIA — Freeman edged Hanson for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Freeman’s Rylee Peters finished with 25 points and five rebounds. Estelle Waltner had nine points and nine rebounds. Cadence Hofer finished with nine points.

For Hanson, Hannah Easton finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kendra Endorf had nine points. Ava Doyle and Rylee Ferguson had eight points apiece. Doyle had 10 rebounds.


Sioux Valley 52, Deuel 19

CLEAR LAKE — Liberty Trygstad’s 19-point game powered Class A No. 6 Sioux Valley over Deuel in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Trygstad finished with 19 points, six rebounds and six steals for the Cossacks, Talya Vincent added 11 points and four rebounds while Kailey Cradduck had eight points, four rebounds and two steals in the win.

For Deuel, Camdyn Peterreins led with seven points, seven rebounds and a block while Graclyn Nielsen had six points and three rebounds in the loss.


Northwestern 43, Webster Area 36

MELLETTE — Three players scored in double figures as Northwestern clipped Webster Area in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Breelyn Satter led with 13 points for the Wildcats, Ashley Haven and Sophia Troske each had 11 points while Tara Blachford and Taylor Vetter each had six points in the win.

For WA, Chloe Mammenga had 11 points, Georgia Vergeldt added nine points while Bailee Ninkee had seven points in the loss.


Wolsey-Wessington 48, Iroquois/Lake Preston 33

WOLSEY — Three players scored in double figures to power Wolsey-Wessington to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

WW’s Maria Nelson and Kendal Uttecht scored 15 points apiece. Shae Uttecht had 10 points.

For ILP, Bentlee Holt scored 14 points and Brityn Davies had 10 points.


Chester 62, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 26

CHESTER — Three players finished in double digit scoring as Class B No. 7 Chester took down Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in girls basketball Tuesday.

Emmerson Eppard led with 17 points,seven rebounds and three steals, Jacy Wolf added 16 points and three steals, Gracie Mersch totaled 11 points and three steals while Katelyn Schut and Kaitlyn Hilbelink each brought down 10 rebounds in the win.

For ORR, Brookelyn Riedel led with 16 points in the loss.


Rapid City Christian 55, Belle Fourche 28

BELLE FOURCHE — Nia Selfridge and Sadie Marshall powered Rapid City Christian to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Selfridge finished with 14 points and Marshall added 13 points. Nora Kieffer, Miley Johnson and Maddie Kooiman scored six points apiece.

Belle Fourche stats were not reported. 

 

Faulkton Area 46, Gettysburg 37

GETTYSBURG — Anika Mueller’s 25-point burst guided Faulkton Area over Gettysburg in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Mueller totaled 25 points and six rebounds in the win, Brooklyn Mueller recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, five steals and two assists while Presleigh Martinmaas had 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Trojans.

Gettysburg’s Emma Schlachter had 14 points, 11 rebounds and six steals while Finlee Heien added 11 points and two steals in the loss.


Harding County 71, Dupree 22

DUPREE — Class B No. 8 Harding County jumped out to a 31-7 halftime lead en route to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Harding County’s Kamry Padden finished with 14 points. Macy Wendt totaled nine points and three assists. Kaylen Padden had nine points. Carson Page and Raelee Hunsucker added eight points apiece. Kaydence Gilbert and Brayden Padden scored six points apiece.

For Dupree, Maddlynn Red Bear had eight points and four rebounds. Breanna Domingo scored six points and Leilyah Thompson had five points.


North Central 45, Stanley County 30

FORT PIERRE — Amree Vander Vorst’s 21-point game lifted North Central to a girls basketball win over Stanley County Tuesday.

Vander Vorst finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and four steals, Ella Battie added nine points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two assists while Alaina Dosch had nine points, five rebounds and two assists in the win.

For SC, Austyn Norman tallied 11 points while Kynzi Hall and Addy Deal each had seven points in the loss.


Aberdeen Christian 39, Ipswich 38 (OT) 

IPSWICH — Arianna Johnson and Jolie Fogarty paced Aberdeen Christian to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Johnson finished with 14 points and seven rebounds. Fogarty added 11 points and 13 rebounds. Reagan Jett had seven points.

For Ipswich, Brianna Geditz finished with seven points. Marley Guthmiller totaled 16 rebounds and four boards. Jalyssa Hutson had six points and six rebounds. Anna Nierman totaled six points. Tristan Geditz had five points, five assists and seven rebounds. 


Vermillion 51, Dakota Valley 46

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Three players scored in double figures to power Vermillion to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Taylor Reuvers finished with 24 points, five steals and four assists. Lexi Hanson had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Tessa Nelson added 10 points. 

For DV, Katie Betsworth had 16 points and four steals. Aubree Worden recorded 10 points and six assists. Jaidyn Jund added eight assists. 


Brandon Valley 65, Sioux Falls Washington 60

SIOUX FALLS — Alyvia Padgett powered Class AA No. 1 Brandon Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Padgett erupted for 37 points, five rebounds and three steals. Gracie Salter added 20 points and six boards. 

For Washington, Dana Harpe finished with 23 points and six rebounds. Josie Biteler recorded 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers. Layla Berte totaled 11 points and 13 rebounds. Jersey Peterson posted eight points and 11 boards.
