Arlington 54, James Valley Christian 24

ARLINGTON — Jaelyn Huntimer erupted for 29 points as Arlington took down James Valley Christian in girls basketball action Thursday.

Huntimer led with 29 points for the Cardinals while Sony Johnson and Lauryn Mutziger each added 11 points in the win.

For JVC, Janiyah Waldner led with nine points while Rylin Wipf tallied eight points in the loss.

 

Faith 56, Dupree 25

DUPREE — Aspen Senn powered Faith to a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Senn scored 18 points and hit five 3-pointers. Sawyer Simons posted nine points. Raynee Jones and Whitnie Veit scored eight points apiece. Bridger Frei scored six points. 

For Dupree, Jaeshawnia Iron Hawk scored nine points. Maddlynn Red Bear added six points. 


Lyman 55, Philip 23

PRESHO — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 1 Lyman to a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Lyman’s Jordyn Scott finished with 19 points, six rebounds and three steals. Mak Scott added 12 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. Bree Smart had 11 points, five rebounds and three steals. Kenzie Wagner had seven points and six rebounds. 

Philip stats were not reported.


Northwestern 40, Great Plains Lutheran 33

MELLETTE — A balanced scoring attack powered Northwestern over Great Plains Lutheran in girls basketball action Thursday.

Breelyn Satter led the Wildcats with nine points, Sophia Troske and Taylor Vetter each had eight points, Lilly Haven netted six points, Kyara Ratigan had five points while Ashley Haven scored four points in the win.

For GPL, Julia Prahl had 12 points while Katherine Prahl collected seven points in the loss.


Hamlin 59, Deuel 25

HAYTI — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 2 Hamlin to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Hamlin’s Issie Steffensen finished with 18 points and four 3-pointers. Addie Neuendorf totaled 16 points and four 3-pointers. Addie Jensen scored 14 points. 

For Deuel, Graclyn Nielsen scored nine points and Camdyn Peterreins had six points. 


Castlewood 60, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 28

CASTLEWOOD — Castlewood coasted past Oldham-Ramona/Rutland for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Castlewood’s Ava Ruml finished with 16 points and nine boards. Sophia Kudrna added 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kayla Goens and Cassidy Kirwan scored six points apiece. Claire Horn scored five points.

For ORR, Brookelyn Riedel finished with 11 points and four rebounds. Brynlee Lingbeck had seven points and Hattie Hanson scored six points. 


Irene-Wakonda 55, Marty 13

IRENE — Three players scored in double figures to power Irene-Wakonda to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

IW’s Bella Healy finished with 14 points and four rebounds. Emily Oien added 11 points and five steals. Ava George totaled 10 points and six boards. Maryn Lyngstad had eight points and five rebounds. Julia Sees tallied five points, five rebounds and three assists. 

For Marty, Rosario Zephier scored seven points and Gabby Zephier had six points.
