Milbank 32, Tri-Valley 29

COLTON — Milbank overcame a double-digit deficit to earn a comeback win over Tri-Valley in girls basketball action Saturday.

Belle Pauli led the Bulldogs with 10 points, Susie Shuneman and Anna Neugebauer each had eight points while Bree Townsend and Violet Johnson each added three points in the win.

For TV, Rowyn Gacke led the Mustangs with 15 points while Kadence Davey had four points in the loss.


Gayville-Volin 48, Corsica-Stickney 34

BONESTEEL — Three players scored in double figures as Gayville-Volin claimed the Great Plains Conference championship Saturday over Class B No. 10 Corsica-Stickney in girls basketball action.

Taylor Hoxeng and Paisley Dimmer each had 13 points in the win for the Raiders while Maia Ahchen tallied 12 points.

CS’s Braylee Bordewyk had 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists while Sophie DeLange and Remi Nelson each totaled eight points in the loss.


Castlewood 33, Deubrook Area 20

CASTLEWOOD — Castlewood outlasted Deubrook Area for a girls basketball win Saturday.

Ava Ruml led the Warriors with 10 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks, Cassidy Kirwan added nine points and three rebounds while Claire Horn recorded five points and four boards in the win.

For DA, Matte Bauman led the Dolphins with eight points and six rebounds while Neely Gustad collected four points and three rebounds in the loss.


North Central 37, Northwestern 29

MELLETTE — Amree Vander Vorst’s 18-point game pushed North Central to a girls basketball win over Northwestern Saturday.

Vander Vorst led the Thunder with 18 points, Ella Batie added eight points while Alaina Dosch recorded six points in the win.

For Northwestern, Sophia Troske had 12 points, Ashley Haven recorded 10 points while Kyara Ratigan netted nine points in the loss.


Parkston 55, Philip 20

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double figures during Class B No. 2 Parkston’s girls basketball win over Philip Saturday.

Morgan Maxwell led the Trojans with 16 points, five steals and four rebounds, Berkley Ziebart added 15 points, four assists and three steals, Keeara Oakley added 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals while Kahris Tapio had six points and three rebounds in the win.

For Philip, Drew Terkidsen led the Scotties with 14 points and four rebounds in the loss.


Sioux Valley 72, Parker/Marion 24

PARKER — Kailey Cradduck and Talya Vincent combined for 42 points as Class A No. 6 Sioux Valley rolled past Parker/Marion in girls basketball action Saturday.

Cradduck finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals, Vincent recorded 21 points on seven three-pointers, Liberty Trygstad had 15 points and nine assists while Amari Ward added five boards, four steals and three assists in the win.

For Parker/Marion, Karley Luke tallied 11 points while Anna Olson added six points and four rebounds in the loss.


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 56, Sioux Falls Lutheran 27

BONESTEEL — Three players scored in double figures as Andes Central/Dakota Christian defeated Sioux Falls Lutheran at Saturday’s Great Plains Conference Classic.

Lily Muckey led the Thunder with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists, Nakaya Long added 12 points, four rebounds and four assists, Halle Olson recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists, Makayla Jones totaled eight points, three rebounds and three steals while Audrey DeHaan added five boards, four points and four assists in the win.

For SF Lutheran, Shakira Adams led with eight points.


Burke 47, Scotland/Menno 37

BONESTEEL — Burke clipped Scotland/Menno in girls basketball action Saturday at the Great Plains Conference Classic.

Emmie Hausmann led Burke with 14 points while Brianna Davis and Annie Connot each had nine points.

SM’s Kylie Guthmiller recorded 12 points, Lexie McNinch added 11 points while Hope Starwalt totaled six points in the loss.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 59, Alcester-Hudson 36

BONESTEEL — Kinley Spaans and Mia Reiner combined for 47 points as Tripp-Delmont/Armour defeated Alcester-Hudson Saturday at the girls Great Plains Conference Classic.

Spaans finished with a game-high 27 points and 12 rebounds with three steals and two blocks, Reiner added 20 points, nine rebounds, seven steals and three assists while Sara Bertram totaled four steals, four assists and three rebounds in the win.

For AH, Emma Solberg led the Cubs with 12 points and rebounds, Emily Wingquist had nine points, four rebounds and three steals while Skylar Hongslo netted nine points and three rebounds in the loss.


Irene-Wakonda 47, Avon 42

BONESTEEL — A balanced scoring attack paced Irene-Wakonda over Avon in girls basketball action Saturday at the Great Plains Conference Classic.

Rose Libby led the Eagles with 10 points, five rebounds and four steals, Emily Oien added eight points and five rebounds, Maryn Lyngstad tallied seven points, three rebounds and two steals while Bella Healy netted four points and six boards in the win.

For Avon, Rilyn Thury tallied 20 points, six rebounds and five assists, Jordyn Voigt had nine rebounds while Lexi Vanderlei brought down six boards in the loss.


Centerville 68, Marty 24

BONESTEEL — Izzie Eide’s 22-point double-double powered Class B No. 6 Centerville to a girls basketball win over Marty Saturday at the Great Plains Conference Classic.

Eide finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three assists, Peyton Hansen added 12 points, six assists and five boards, Ashlyn Hagena added eight points and five rebounds, Tessa Eide recorded eight points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists while Brea and Lydia Austin each had seven points in the win.

Marty’s stats were not reported.


Rapid City Stevens 42, Harrisburg 40

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 4 Rapid City Stevens edged Harrisburg in girls basketball action on Saturday.

Stevens’ Halle Peterson posted 10 points.

Harrisburg’s Taylor Nedved scored 10 points.
