Sioux Falls Christian 57, Yankton 23

YANKTON — Class A No. 4 Sioux Falls Christian pulled away from Yankton for a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Sioux Falls Christian's Ellie Lems logged 19 points. 

Yankton's Macy Drotzmann and Claire Tereshinski scored five points apiece. 


Corsica-Stickney 54, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 31

CORSICA — Avery Broughton logged a double-double to power Corsica-Stickney to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Broughton finished with 27 points, 15 rebounds and four assists. Payton DeLange added 10 points. Sutten Eide and Ashlyn Lefers scored five points apiece. Jacey Kemp collected seven rebounds. 

Tripp-Delmont/Armour’s Megan Reiner logged 17 points, while Hannah Stremick had seven points and five rebounds. 


Viborg-Hurley 68, Menno 32

HURLEY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Viborg-Hurley’s Coral Mason recorded 21 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. Denae Mach added 18 points. Estelle Lee had 14 points and four rebounds. Charley Nelson tallied eight points, eight steals and five rebounds. 

Menno’s Layne Schmidt scored nine points. Ashton Massey netted eight points. 


Wall 67, Lyman 48 

WALL — Wall outscored Lyman 33-22 in the second half to pick up a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lyman’s Mak Scott recorded 24 points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists. Skyler Volmer recorded 20 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots. 


Wessington Springs 41, Kimball/White Lake 37

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Wessington Springs outscored Kimball/White Lake 16-6 in the fourth quarter to secure a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Wessington Springs’ Avery Orth led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Kate Havlik added six points, while Ashlyn Weber added five points. Kirstie Munsen had nine rebounds, four points and three assists. Carissa Scheel had five points and three points. Alyssa Grohs finished with six points and five assists. 

KWL’s Ryann Nielsen and Harley Namanny scored 12 points apiece. Nielsen grabbed five rebounds. Madison Meier logged eight points and four rebounds. Ryann Grussing finished with five points, while Dani Deffenbaugh grabbed 11 rebounds. 


Sully Buttes 59, Sunshine Bible Academy 22

MILLER — Lydia Hill and Stevie Wittler combined for 33 points as Class B No. 3 Sully Buttes picked up a win over Sunshine Bible Academy Tuesday. 

Hill led the Chargers with 20 points and nine rebounds. Wittler had 13 points, five assists and three steals. 

Sadie Konechne led Sunshine Bible Academy with eight points and five rebounds. 


Canistota 37, Scotland 23

CANISTOTA — A balanced scoring attack helped Canistota pick up a girls basketball win over Scotland on Tuesday. 

Kayla Papendick led the Canistota offense with 12 points and four rebounds. Natalie Becker added 10 points, seven rebounds and seven steals for the Hawks. 

Trinity Bietz led Scotland with nine points and six rebounds. Jenna Vitek added eight points for Scotland. 


Arlington 57, Chester Area 52

CHESTER — Arlington outlasted Chester Area for a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Arlington’s Jolyssa Steffensen finished with 19 points, while Addie Steffensen recorded 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Jaelyn Huntimer had 10 points. 

Chester Area’s Emery Larson recorded 22 points. Emmerson Eppard and Katelyn Schut scored 10 points apiece. Eppard had 11 rebounds, while Schut grabbed nine rebounds. Jacy Wolf added six assists and three steals. Kaylor Geraets had six assists. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 55, Gregory 52

GREGORY — Andes Central/Dakota Christian clipped Gregory for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Josie Brouwer recorded 23 points and five rebounds. Mahpiya Irving logged 14 points, while Allison Muckey had eight points and five rebounds. Halle Olson and Isabella Brouwer had five rebounds apiece. Brouwer added five assists. 

Gregory’s Cassidy Keiser recorded 25 points and eight rebounds. Mya Determan added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jessy Jo VanDerWerff had nine points, six rebounds and four rebounds. 


Redfield 55, Northwestern 49

REDFIELD — A balanced scoring attack helped Redfield earn a girls basketball win over Northwestern on Tuesday. 

Katie Rozell paced the Redfield attack with 12 points and eight rebounds. Ashlyn Clausen and Gracie Fast each scored 12 points. Ellie Evans had ten points and five rebounds for the Pheasants. 

Ashley Haven led Northwestern with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ella Haven had 15 points and seven rebounds while Adriana Ratigan had 11 points and 12 rebounds.


Highmore-Harrold 44, Ipswich 33

IPSWICH — Highmore-Harrold jumped out to a 19-8 first-quarter lead en route to a girls basketball win over Ipswich on Tuesday.

Highmore-Harrold’s Brooke Palmer finished with 18 points and six rebounds. Kendall Cermak added 10 points and seven rebounds. April Fallis scored eight points. 

Ipswich’s Gabby Wald finished with 12 points and four steals. Katie Bierman added 10 points, five assists and four rebounds. 


Lennox 62, Beresford 41

BERESFORD — Three players scored in double digits to pace Lennox to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lennox’s Andie Peters logged 17 points and Carli Kuyper finished with 16 points. Dani Highum added 11 points.

Beresford’s Ella Merriman finished with 10 points. Macy Quartier added nine points, while Savanna Beeson scored seven points. 


Winner 56, Platte-Geddes 35

WINNER — A balanced scoring attack helped Winner pick up a girls basketball win over Platte-Geddes on Tuesday. 

Lilly Barfuss paced Winner with 14 points. Kylie Sachtjen added 12 points and two assists while Karlee Brozik scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds. 

Kori VanDerWerff led Platte-Geddes with eight points and ten rebounds. Hadley Hanson added seven points for Platte-Geddes. 


Pierre 57, Brookings 29

BROOKINGS — Three players scored in double figures as Pierre rolled to a win over Brookings in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Reese Terwilliger led the Governors with 18 points and six rebounds. Remington Price added 13 points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals while Maya Shorter chipped in with 10 points. 

Tess Burns led Brookings with eight points and three rebounds. Sophia Hammrich added six points, two rebounds and two assists. 


Sioux Falls O’Gorman 49, Harrisburg 43

HARRISBURG — Sioux Falls O’Gorman earned a road win over Harrisburg in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Mahli Abdouch led Sioux Falls O’Gorman with 19 points. 

Jaylee Hofer posted 12 points for Harrisburg while Hannah Eide chipped in with 11 points.  


Sioux Falls Washington 52, Mitchell 39

SIOUX FALLS — A balanced scoring attack helped Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Washington earn a win over Mitchell in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Grace Peterson led Sioux Falls Washington with 11 points. Hannah Harpe added 10 points and five rebounds while Brooklyn Harpe finished with ten points and eight rebounds. 

Sawyer Stoebner led Mitchell with 16 points and 12 rebounds while Laura Van Overschelde chipped in with eight points.
