Ethan 41, Parkston 31

MITCHELL — Class B No. 4 Ethan used a 15-7 fourth quarter to pull away from Class B No. 2 Parkston for a girls basketball win on Monday. 

Ethan’s Marissa Storm finished with 12 points, while Sadie Mueller added 10 points and six rebounds. Taziah Hawkins had nine points and three rebounds. Macie Dean totaled eight points. 

For Parkston, Keeara Oakley recorded 12 points and five rebounds. Alexis Holzbauer had six points. Lexi Schoenfelder added five rebounds and four points.


Centerville 57, Elk Point-Jefferson 43

CENTERVILLE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 6 Centerville to a girls basketball win on Monday.

Centerville’s Izzie Eide finished with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Lydia Austin added 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Brea Austin recorded 12 points and three steals. Peyton Hansen posted five points and five rebounds. 

For EPJ, Paige Jacobs scored 11 points and added three rebounds. Makinley Hammitt totaled eight points. Cera Schmitz finished with seven points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kate Hayes totaled six points and five rebounds. 


Sioux Valley 67, Dell Rapids 52

DELL RAPIDS — Three players scored in double figures as Class A No. 6 Sioux Valley took down Dell Rapids in girls basketball action Monday.

Kailey Cradduck led the Cossacks with 20 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, Talya Vincent totaled 18 points on six 3-pointers, adding six assists as well, Liberty Trygstad netted 12 points on four three’s with seven assists and two steals, Miley Keating recorded eight points and four rebounds while Amari Ward had seven points in the win.

For DR, Rorie Thoreson led with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals, Elin Schoenhard added 11 points and six rebounds while Jersi Schultz recorded seven points and 10 boards in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 57, Deuel 22

CLEAR LAKE — Four players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 7 Clark/Willow Lake over Deuel in girls basketball Monday.

Shelby Begeman led the Cyclones with 13 points, eight rebounds and two steals, Kamryn Nesheim added 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals, Johanna Vandersnick recorded 10 points, four rebounds and two steals while Jenny Bevers added 10 points in the win.

For Deuel, Camdyn Peterreins led with nine points and eight boards while Sophie Trupe recorded six points in the loss.


Tri-Valley 41, McCook Central-Montrose 34

SALEM — Mattie Huwe’s 19-point game guided Tri-Valley over McCook Central-Montrose in girls basketball action Monday.

Huwe finished with 19 points and three steals, Rowyn Gacke added eight points and six rebounds, Hailey Sorenson totaled seven points, four rebounds and three steals while Kadence Davey netted four points and 10 boards in the win.

For MCM, Ashtyn DeKnikker totaled nine points, Ella DeKnikker added eight points and three rebounds while Mandi Schock collected seven points and six boards in the loss.


Hamlin 52, Redfield 19

REDFIELD — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class A No. 2 Hamlin to a girls basketball victory on Monday.

Hamlin’s Addie Neuendorf finished with 16 points and hit four 3-pointers. Issie Steffensen totaled 14 points and four 3-pointers. Addie Jensen scored 11 points. Ava Taschner scored six points and Jade Thue had five points.

For Redfield, Rylen Frericks scored six points.


Harding County 68, Bison 18

BUFFALO — Kaylen Padden and Macey Wendt combined for 36 points as Class B No. 8 Harding County defeated Bison in girls basketball action Monday.

Padden totaled 18 points, four rebounds and three assists while Wendt netted 18 points and two steals in the win, Brayden Padden added 13 points and eight boards while Kamry Padden recorded eight points in the win.

For Bison, Kimery Seidel and Cora Besler each had six points in the loss.
