Bridgewater-Emery 58, Howard 48 

HOWARD — Sutton Arend powered Bridgewater-Emery to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Arend netted 32 points, including 26 in the final three quarters. Camdyn Stoterau added nine points, while Ben Weber logged seven points. Sam Hofer finished with five points. 

Howard’s Kolt Koepsell scored 15 points and Colby Claussen added 10 points. Taiden Hoyer posted nine points and Luke Koepsell finished with seven points. 


Viborg-Hurley 63, Dell Rapids St. Mary 60 

DELL RAPIDS — Viborg-Hurley held off Dell Rapids St. Mary for a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Kobee Sherman led the Cougars with 23 points. 

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Trevon Beckman scored 17 points, while Nic Gaspar added 15 points. C.J. Smith and Maverick LeBrun had 12 and eight points, respectively. 


Mitchell Christian 48, Centerville 47

CENTERVILLE — Braedon Nebelsick hit a shot with 1.5 seconds left to lift Mitchell Christian to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Aiden Lieber recorded 22 points, while Nebelsick added 16 points. Nahum Anderberg scored eight points. 

Centerville’s Logan Bobzin scored 12 points and scored his 1,000th career point. Alec Austin added 10 points. Miles Eide recorded nine points. Luke Knight had five points. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 83, McCook Central/Montrose 42

SALEM — Three players scored in double figures to power Mount Vernon/Plankinton to a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Zach Baker finished with 24 points and four 3-pointers. Mason Hetland added 20 points and seven rebounds. Reed Rus logged 16 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Stoltz had eight points and four rebounds. 

McCook Central/Montrose’s Owen Alley finished with 13 points, while Mason Sabers added 12 points. Boston Katzer logged 10 points and seven rebounds. 


Winner 61, Crow Creek 42

STEPHAN — Three players score in double figures to pace Winner to a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Blake Volmer led the Warriors with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Aiden Barfuss posted 12 points and five rebounds. Shawn Hammerbeck had 10 points and eight rebounds. Ethan Bartels added eight points and four rebounds. Norman Chasing Hawk IV logged seven points, while Pierce Nelson had six rebounds. 

Crow Creek’s Quentin McBride finished with 12 points. Jayden Sazue and Mickael Bernard had eight points apiece. Cory Big Eagle Jr., added 12 rebounds and four points. 


Parkston 56, Corsica-Stickney 42

CORSICA — Parkston pulled away from Corsica-Stickney for a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Corsica-Stickney’s Tyson Wentland finished with 14 points, while Shad Bosma added eight points. Carter Wright added six points and four rebounds. 


Flandreau 60, Deubrook Area 44

FLANDREAU — Four players scored in double figures to pace Flandreau to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Alfie Henderson finished with 14 points, while Paul Parsley added 12 points. Luke Sheppard scored 11 points and Micah Otto added 10 points. 

Deubrook Area’s Gavin Landmark scored 11 points and Jacob Jorenby added 10 points. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 65, West Central 45

HARTFORD — Evan Fornia and Jakob Scarmon combined to score 34 points to pace Elk Point-Jefferson to a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Fornia scored 20 points and Scarmon added 14 points. Devon Schmitz logged nine points. 

West Central’s Crew Heier scored 12 points and grabbed four rebounds. Erik Seten had 11 points, while Carter Schmeichel added seven points and three rebounds. 


Madison 57, Milbank 45

MILBANK — Three players scored in double figures to pace Madison to a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Madison’s Chuck Callahan finished with 17 points and four rebounds. Aiden Jensen added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Eli Barger posted 10 points and five rebounds. Ben Brooks had eight points and seven rebounds. Andrew Comes logged six points. 

Milbank’s Garrett Mertens had 19 points, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. Joe Schulte scored 10 points. Justus Osborn had five rebounds and three points.
