St. Thomas More 48, Winner 26 

WINNER — Reese Ross recorded a double-double to pace Class A No. 5 St. Thomas More to a girls basketball win over Winner on Friday.

Ross finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jada Mollman scored eight points and dished out three assists.

Winner’s Cici Watson and Lilly Barfuss scored seven points apiece. Watson added four rebounds. Karlee Brozik had five points and four rebounds. 


Ethan 61, Kimball/White Lake 28

WHITE LAKE — Ava Lingemann and Marissa Storm combined for 46 points to power Class B No. 5 Ethan to a girls basketball win over Kimball/White Lake on Friday. 

Lingemann recorded 29 points, while Storm added 17 points. 

KWL’s Harley Namanny scored nine points and Dani Deffenbaugh grabbed 10 rebounds 


Corsica-Stickney 54, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 23

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney jumped out to a 25-10 halftime lead en route to a girls basketball win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Friday. 

Avery Broughton led the Jaguars with 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Braylee Bordewyk logged eight points. Payton DeLange and Jacey Kemp recorded seven points and three rebounds apiece. Sydney Spaans tallied five points, five rebounds and three assists. 

SCW’s Kamryn Ochsner finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Kalli Hofer had seven rebounds. 


Irene-Wakonda 45, Menno 27

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Irene-Wakonda to a girls basketball win over Menno on Friday. 

Irene-Wakonda’s Madison Orr finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Emma Marshall added 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Quinn Marshall logged 10 points and four steals. Kaitlynn Mellem added nine points, four rebounds and three assists. 

Menno’s Allison Lehr posted eight points. Abby Bender and Layne Schmidt scored five points apiece. Schmidt added six rebounds. 


Northwestern 44, Waubay/Summit 34

SUMMIT — Adriana Ratigan and Ashley Haven both recorded double-doubles to power Northwestern to a girls basketball win over Waubay/Summit on Friday.

Ratigan recorded 18 points and 20 boards. Haven added 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Ella Haven added four points and 11 rebounds. Tara Blachford had nine points. 

Waubay/Summit’s Eva Benike posted 10 points, while Brianna Lindholm scored seven points. Faith Larson added five points and five boards. Kailee Berger had five points and four rebounds. Peyton Rumpza added five rebounds. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 64, Colome 19 

COLOME — Three players scored in double figures to pace Andes Central/Dakota Christian to a girls basketball win over Colome on Friday. 

Allison Muckey recorded 17 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Josie Brouwer added 16 points and five rebounds. Nadia VanZuidam logged 11 points and five rebounds. Claire Johnson recorded eight points. Gabby Olson added five rebounds, while Isabella Brouwer collected five steals. 

Colome’s Maura Luedke scored 12 points. Toree Ringing Shield grabbed four rebounds. 


James Valley Christian 41, Faulkton Area 33

HURON — Alexa Goertz and Kaylie Robinson combined to score 30 points to pace James Valley Christian to a girls basketball win over Faulkton Area on Friday. 

Goertz finished with 18 points and six rebounds. Kaylie Robinson scored 12 points, dished out four assists and collected four steals. Lily Hofer added six points. 

Faulkton Area’s Paislee Martinmaas and Kelli Stoecker scored 11 points apiece. Ashly Senn finished with eight points. 


North Central 51, Ipswich 44 

BOWDLE — Brittney Frickson and Amree VanderVorst combined for 35 points to pace North Central to a girls basketball win on Friday.

Frickson finished with 24 points, while VanderVorst added 11 points. Ella Batie posted eight points and Jenisa Jacobs scored six points. 

Ipswich’s Katie Bierman scored 15 points. Bri Geditz added six points. Ashlyn Weig and Gabby Wald scored five points apiece. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 52, De Smet 49 

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton outlasted De Smet for a girls basketball win on Friday. 

De Smet’s Jada Burke finished with 26 points, six rebounds and scored her 1,000th career point. 


Colman-Egan 59, Estelline-Hendricks 36

COLMAN — Brynlee Landis and Lanie Mousel combined for 35 points to pace Colman-Egan to a girls basketball win over Estelline-Hendricks on Friday.

Mousel logged 18 points and hit four 3-pointers. Brynlee Landis added 17 points and five rebounds. Berkley Groos had nine points on three 3-pointers and collected five rebounds. Kaylee Voelker scored eight points and Ava Mousel dished out four assists.

Estelline-Hendricks’ Kenzy Beare recorded 13 points, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. Clair Dagel added 10 points and six rebounds. Sadie Johnson recorded nine points and four rebounds. 


Arlington 58, Deubrook Area 35

ARLINGTON — Four players scored in double figures to pace Arlington to a girls basketball victory on Friday. 

Arlington’s Harley Johnson and Jolyssa Steffensen scored 14 points apiece. Johnson added eight rebounds and three 3-pointers, while Steffensen collected seven rebounds. Jaelyn Huntimer recorded 13 points. Addalyn Steffensen scored 11 points. 

Deubrook Area’s Skyla Petersen scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds. Kadence Bowne scored nine points, while Brooke Koppatschek had seven points. Miranda Moravetz posted seven rebounds and Ellie Olsen grabbed five rebounds. 


Brandon Valley 45, Rapid City Central 38 

BRANDON — Brandon Valley turned a one-point halftime deficit into a 13-point girls basketball win on Friday. 

Brandon Valley’s Hilary Behrens recorded 10 points. Ava Kellenberger and Alyvia Padgett scored nine points apiece. Kennedi Deckert scored eight points and Paisley Hoff added five points. 

Rapid City Central’s Aaliyah Jones scored 17 points. Leah Landry logged eight points and Tella Jiron added five points. 


Sioux Falls Washington 49, Watertown 36

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Washington to a girls basketball win on Friday. 

Brooklyn Harpe finished with 16 points and seven rebounds. Grace Peterson added 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Taylor Thompson tallied 10 points. Hannah Harpe had four points, eight assists and three rebounds. 

Watertown’s Jada Lund scored nine points on three 3-pointers. Maddy Rohde and Jaida Young scored eight points apiece. Young grabbed six rebounds. Emery Thury had seven points, while Miranda Falconer scored five points.
