Avon 51, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 49 

ARMOUR — Avon outlasted Tripp-Delmont/Armour for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Avon’s Courtney Sees tossed in 24 points, while Lila Vanderlei recorded seven points and 13 rebounds. Rilyn Thury finished with six points and eight rebounds. Alexis Vanderlei and McKenna Kocmich scored five points apiece. Kaeli Wallinga grabbed six rebounds. 

TDA’s Megan Reiner poured in a game-high 34 points. Hannah Stremick added six points. Mia Reiner recorded five points and nine rebounds. Kinley Spaans added six rebounds.


Lyman 50, Philip 42

PHILIP — Mak Scott and Skyler Volmer combined for 40 points to pace Lyman to a girls basketball win over Philip on Thursday.

Scott recorded 21 points, five rebounds, five blocked shots, four assists and three steals. Volmer added 19 points, five rebounds, five blocked shots, four steals and three assists. McKenzie Laverdure recorded five points and six rebounds. 


Winner 66, Burke 44

WINNER — Winner pulled away from Burke for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Winner’s Kylie Sachtjen finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Keelie Kuil added 11 points and nine rebounds. Aleya Miller recorded 10 points, while Lily Barfuss finished with nine points. Karlee Brozik had seven points and Josey Kludt added six points. 

Burke’s Cecily Geaghan finished with nine points. Adisyn Indahl and Bridget Bartling scored seven points apiece. Indahl added five rebounds and four assists. Elly Witt scored six points. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 48, Freeman Academy/Marion 43

NEW HOLLAND — Allison Muckey and Josie Brouwer combined to score 39 points to pace Andes Central/Dakota Christian to a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Muckey finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. Brouwer added 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Gabby Olson added nine rebounds. Mahpiya Irving added four assists. 

Freeman Academy/Marion’s Jada Koerner scored 17 points, seven steals and six rebounds. Alivea Weber had 15 points. Estelle Waltner grabbed 12 rebounds. Leah Goodwin added six rebounds. 


Centerville 45, Menno 19 

MENNO — Centerville pulled away from Menno for a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Centerville’s Thea Gust recorded 13 points and three rebounds. Mackenzie Meyer added 10 points and six rebounds. Makayla Heesch recorded nine points, six rebounds and three assists. Lillie Eide logged eight points and four assists.

Menno’s Ashton Massey had eight points and five rebounds.  


Northwestern 44, Great Plains Lutheran 40

WATERTOWN — Three players reached double figures as Northwestern picked up a win over Great Plains Lutheran in girls basketball action Thursday. 

Ella Haven led Northwestern with 11 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Ashley Haven notched 11 points and 12 rebounds while Adriana Ratigen added 10 points and six rebounds. 

Myra Lentz led Great Plains Lutheran with 16 points while Halie Bauer added nine points and three rebounds. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 50, Bridgewater-Emery 25

FORESTBURG — A balanced scoring attack helped Sanborn Central/Woonsocket pick up a win over Bridgewater-Emery in girls basketball action Thursday. 

Liz Boschee paced the Blackhawks with 13 points and four steals. Jaycee Baruth added 10 points and eight rebounds. 

Shania Long and Hayden Hofer led Bridgewater-Emery with each player scoring six points. 


Ipswich 43, Wilmot 37

IPSWICH — A balanced scoring attack helped Ipswich pick up a win over Wilmot in girls basketball action Thursday. 

Gabby Wald led Ipswich with 14 points, two rebounds and three steals. Katie Bierman added nine points, three rebounds and three steals while Karlie gohl chipped in with eight points. 

Addison Heinje led Wilmot with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Jada Cameron added 10 points for Wilmot. 


Canistota 44, Gayville-Volin 33

CANISTOTA — A balanced scoring attack helped Canistota pick up a win over Gayville-Volin in girls basketball action Thursday. 

Kayla Papendick paced Canistota with 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. Ella Becker added nine points with Natalie Becker scoring eight points. 

Taylor Hoxeng paced Gayville-Volin with 21 points and seven rebounds. 


Watertown 48, Mitchell 44

MITCHELL — Watertown edged Mitchell for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Watertown’s Miranda Falconer finished with 10 points. Jaida Young scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds. Maddy Rhode had seven points, while Jade Lund and Emery Thury scored six points apiece. Kendall Paulson scored five points. Grace Corey added six points and four rebounds. 

Mitchell’s Addie Siemsen scored 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Sawyer Stoebner added 11 points and six rebounds. Lauren VanOverschelde had eight points. 


Tea Area 70, Dell Rapids 45

TEA — Three players scored in double figures to pace Tea Area to a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Mara Grant and Katie Vasecka scored 18 points apiece. Vasecka added 13 rebounds and five assists. Grant collected eight boards. Miah Weber finished with 10 points. Kendra McKinney and Haidyn West scored seven and six points, respectively. Stella Peterson had six points, six assists and five rebounds. 

Dell Rapids’ Jenna Miller scored 11 points, while Liz Price netted 10 points. Elly Olson finished with nine points and four assists. Claire Wynja logged eight points. 


Milbank 53, Ortonville, Minn., 23

ORTONVILLE, Minn. — Isabella Anderson and Maurina Street combined to score 37 points to pace Milbank to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Anderson finished with 20 points and eight rebounds. Street recorded 17 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Tyra Berry finished with five points.


Tri-Valley 55, Lennox 51

COLTON — Tri-Valley edged Lennox for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Tri-Valley’s Lauren Grinde scored 18 points and Stephanie Buchmann added 14 points.
