PIERRE — With all but a few of the top teams in South Dakota in attendance at Friday’s Pierre Invitational, the Pierre girls delivered a team title to the home faithful.

Pierre racked up 161.5 points, well ahead of Spearfish (95) and Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon (86.5). Sturgis (85.5) and Custer (84) rounded out the top five teams. 

Shaylee Speck (100), Dani Ringstmeyer (126), Lexie Hillmer (132) and Abbigail Lewis (152) all won individual titles for Pierre. 

Other individual championships went to Sturgis’s Annalee Pierson (107), McCook Central/Montrose’s Alexis Bryant (114), Rapid City Central’s Anna Henstein (120), Sioux Valley’s Summer Guthmiler (138), Bon Homme/Scotland Avon’s Peyton Hellmann (145), Rapid City Stevens’ Marieda Kalahar (165), Custer’s Jessica Hite (185) and Todd County’s Unique Clairmont (235).
