COLOME -- Freeman Academy/Marion picked up a season-opening girls basketball win over Colome on Friday. No other information was reported. 

Hanson 63, Centerville 37

ALEXANDRIA -- Eliza Oltmanns and Alyssa Moschell combined for 35 points as Hanson topped Centerville in a girls basketball contest on Friday. 

Oltmanns led the way with 18 points and seven steals. Moschell added 17 points and five rebounds. Annalyse Weber dished out seven assists and Karlie Goergen logged seven steals. 

Centerville’s Mackenzie Meyer scored 14 points. Lillie Eide recorded 13 points, five assists and five steals. Bailey Hanson collected seven rebounds. 

Northwestern 52, Britton-Hecla 49

BRITTON -- Northwestern pulled away from Britton-Hecla for a girls basketball victory on Friday. 

Northwestern’s Faith Larson finished with 15 points and Teryn Sparling netted 10 points. Adriana Ratigan tossed in eight points. 

Britton-Hecla’s Goiuri Sarria scored 17 points and Sterling Brassfield added 12 points. Jenna Werner contributed nine points.

Garretson 53, Baltic 36

GARRETSON -- Garretson topped Baltic in girls basketball action on Friday. 

Lily Ranschau led Garretson with 10 points, five rebounds, five steals and five assists. Jaelyn Benson scored 10 points. Logan Bly finished with eight points, while Mya Long and Jordyn Williams had six points apiece. Anna Jones collected four rebounds. 

Baltic’s Sami Polzin scored 12 points and Berklee Erickson added 11 points.
