High school football roundup - Aidan Fredrickson powers Britton-Hecla past Langford Area

Britton-Hecla 55, Langford Area 14

BRITTON -- Britton-Hecla erupted for 507 total yards and picked up a Thursday high school football win over Langford Area. 

Aidan Fredrickson powered the Braves with 185 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, 193 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. He had three interceptions on defense. 

BoDell Davidson rushed for 109 yards and scored two touchdowns. Luke Storley hauled in 107 receiving yards and had two touchdown receptions. Gage Storley hauled in a touchdown reception. Davidson racked up a team-high 12 tackles, while Dashel Davidson, Gage Storley and Jordan Dawson each had sacks. The Braves racked up 314 rushing yards. 

Langford Area’s Benjamin Gustafson recorded 71 passing yards, 32 rushing yards and one rushing score. He added a kickoff return for a touchdown. Jesse Keough had a team-high 49 rushing yards. Aden Godel had 27 receiving yards. Kalen Godel had a team-high 7.5 tackles. The Lions had 167 total yards. 

 

Aberdeen Roncalli 43, Mobridge-Pollock 14

ABERDEEN -- Aberdeen Roncalli used a 21-0 third quarter to pull away from Mobridge-Pollock on Thursday at Northern State University’s Dacotah Bank Stadium.

Jackson Isakson paced the Cavaliers with 104 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. He added 72 rushing yards on 10 carries. Ben Rohl rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns, while Maddox May and Abe Kretchman each had a rushing score. Rohl and Andrew Brennan each hauled in touchdown receptions. May had a team-high 6.5 tackles. The Cavaliers recorded 351 total yards, including 247 yards on the ground. 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Holden Eisemann threw for 136 yards and two passing touchdowns. Cole Wellner rushed for 78 yards on 14 carries. Jackson Eisemann threw for 61 yards and hauled in two touchdown receptions. Ashton Pfitzer racked up a game-high 16.5 tackles, including 14 solo stops. 

Madison 27, West Central 7

HARTFORD -- Nate Ricke threw for 208 yards and a touchdown to power Madison to a Thursday high school football win over West Central.

Ricke added a rushing touchdown for the Trojans, who led 21-0 at halftime. Trey Smith added two rushing touchdowns, while Mickale Dohrer hauled in a touchdown reception. Peyton Wolf logged a team-high 82 receiving yards. 

West Central’s Gavin Koch passed for 158 yards and a passing touchdown. Justin Wirpel rushed for 47 yards, while Heath Owen had 55 receiving yards and a touchdown reception. Braden Dierickx had 54 receiving yards.
