Faulkton Area 50, North Central 14
FAULKTON -- Faulkton Area racked up 455 total yards and picked up a prep football win over North Central on Friday.
Simon Bowar led the Trojans with 172 rushing yards and three touchdowns on nine carries. Parker Geditz completed 12 of 13 passes for 218 yards and two touchdown passes. Bennet Cassens hauled in 103 receiving yards and had a touchdown reception. Roman Dimaria added a touchdown reception. Hunter Niederbaumer had a rushing touchdown and 46 receiving yards. Defensively, Bowar and Ryan Beckler had 6.5 tackles. Geditz added 5.5 tackles and an interception.
North Central’s Raynor Sprague threw for 181 yards. Kason Hinton had a rushing touchdown and Pablo Diaz Fernandez had an interception return for a score. North Central finished with 200 total yards.
Deuel 42, Sisseton 0
CLEAR LAKE -- A balanced offensive attack netted 293 yards of total offense as Deuel earned a prep football win Friday night.
Quarterback Trey Maaland finished with 178 yards passing and three touchdown passes. The sophomore also added 48 yards rushing and one touchdown run. Carver Nothem and Ty Lovre combined for 55 yards rushing with Lovre scoring a touchdown. Dominic Constant had a rushing touchdown for the Cardinals. Zane Bingham led Deuel with 92 yards receiving and two receiving touchdowns. Lovre added a receiving touchdown for the Cardinals.
Sisseton finished with just 69 yards of total offense. Ethan DeSpiegler finished with 68 yards passing while Ty Langager caught five passes for 30 yards.

Gayville-Volin 58, Colome 6
COLOME -- Gayville-Volin unleashed a punishing ground attack on their way to 393 yards of total offense earning a win over Colome on Friday.
Payton Johnson led the Raiders with 294 yards rushing, five touchdowns on 17 carries. Johnson completed three of five passes for 99 yards and two touchdown passes. Kyle Hirsch caught two passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson also finished with 18 tackles to lead the Raiders defense.
For Colome Kash Heath finished with 37 yards rushing on eight carries. Kaden Pechota scored a rushing touchdown for the Cowboys. Eli Vobr was three of eight passing and finished with 70 yards. Pechota caught one of those passes for 54 yards.
Howard 42, Garretson 35
GARRETSON -- John Callies scored a 16-yard rushing touchdown with 40 seconds left to send Howard past Garretson on Friday. Callies’ rushing touchdown capped off a 21-7 fourth quarter for the Tigers.
Callies finished with 126 rushing yards on 21 carries and scored three touchdowns. Taiden Hoyer added two rushing touchdowns, while Karsyn Feldhaus added a rushing score.
The Tigers finished with 344 total yards, including 338 rushing yards on 52 carries.
Garretson’s Dylan Kindt threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns on 22 of 34 attempts. Kindt added a rushing touchdown and 32 rushing touchdowns. Ryan Flanagan hauled in seven catches for 136 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. Cooper Long hauled in nine catches for 121 yards and had two touchdown receptions.
Lyman 50, Philip 0
PRESHO -- Lyman improved to 6-1 by putting up 415 yards of total offense to earn a win Friday over Philip.
Colton Collins led the Raiders with 261 yards rushing and five touchdowns on 17 carries. Tance Wagner rushed for 47 yards while Teagan Gourneau had 14 yards. Gourneau completed four of eight passes for 74 yards and a touchdown pass while Collins also added a touchdown pass. Both touchdown passes were caught by Isaac Thomas. Gourneau led the defensive effort recording two interceptions.
Chayson Schofield led Philip with 74 yards rushing on twelve carries. Lane Kuchenbecker completed six of 12 passes for 79 yards.
Britton-Hecla 62, Waverly South/Shore 7
BRITTON -- Britton-Hecla with a big night offensively as the Braves put up 485 yards of total offense in Friday’s win over Waverly Southshore.
BoDell Davidson rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns on just ten carries. Aidan
Fredrickson finished with 190 yards while adding three rushing touchdowns. Davidson and Fredrickson both had kickoff returns for touchdowns. Davidson also led the defensive effort with 13.5 tackles with twelve of those coming as solo tackles.
Kolby Ries led the Coyotes with 54 rushing yards on fourteen carries. Quarterback Troy Kneeland finished with 162 yards and a passing touchdown. Jace Jellis caught that touchdown pass for the only score of the night.

Avon 76, Centerville 42
CENTERVILLE -- Avon exploded for 524 yards of total offense in Friday’s win over Centerville.
Brady Bierema totaled 306 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries. Jaden Stahl topped the century mark with 101 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Riley Rucktaeschel completed just one pass but finished with 63 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns. Caleb Wallinga added a touchdown run for the Pirates. Rucktaeschel and Stahl led the defensive effort, each with an interception.
Centerville quarterback Cole Edberg finished with 394 yards passing and five touchdown passes. Malachi Brouwer led the Tornadoes with 127 yards receiving and one touchdown. Austin Bohlman caught five passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Dalton Knudson caught five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Covin Wattier had six catches for 82 yards and a touchdown reception.
Sioux Valley 48, Flandreau 14
FLANDREAU -- Sioux Valley won its sixth consecutive game and finished with 494 yards of total offense in Friday’s win over Flandreau.
Parker Puetz finished with 289 yards passing and four touchdown passes on just eight attempts. Jace Christen added 103 passing yards and a touchdown. McKade Rentsch and Lane Liebsch combined for 111 yards rushing with Rentsch having a touchdown run. Damien Danzeisen finished with 143 yards receiving and two receiving touchdowns. Carson Christopherson had 75 yards receiving and a touchdown. David Knutson and Caleb Murphy each caught touchdown passes.
Flandreau quarterback Tanner Christenson threw for 167 yards and tossed two touchdown passes. Ethan Hoffman led the Fliers with 95 yards receiving and a touchdown. Chase LeBrun caught the other touchdown for Flandreau on a 31 yard reception.
Elk Point-Jefferson 38, Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan 21
ELK-POINT -- The Huskies improved to 5-2 on the season with Friday’s win over Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan.
Lucas Hueser finished with 90 yards rushing and scored twice on touchdown runs of 13 and four yards. Noah McDermott added a rushing touchdown and gained 91 yards on nine rushing attempts. McDermott completed four of seven passes for 128 yards and a touchdown pass. Devin Schmitz caught two passes for 52 yards and finished with a receiving touchdown.
Koby Kayser managed 56 yards rushing on 17 carries with a rushing touchdown for the Seahawks. Quarterback Kaden Klumb completed 11 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown pass. Sam Hofer contributed 82 yards receiving while snaring a touchdown pass.
McCook Central/Montrose 44, Parker 7
PARKER -- The Cougars improved to 5-2 with a road victory over the Pheasants on Friday evening.
Boston Katzer completed 18 of 26 passes for 278 yards and a pair of touchdown passes. Cody Miles hauled in seven catches for 172 yards and both of the aerial scores. Trevor Hansen carried the rock 24 times for 121 yards and three touchdown runs. Defensively, the Fighting Cougars limited their opponent to 145 yards of total offense
Pheasants quarterback Jaivyn DeBoer led the way offensively with 24 yards passing and 56 rushing yards against the stingy Cougar defense.
Milbank 41, Webster 3
WEBSTER -- The visiting Milbank Bulldogs won their third consecutive game by churning out 353 yards of total offense to earn a win Friday.
Kaden Krause passed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on 10 attempts. Krause led Milbank’s rushing attack with 32 yards and a touchdown. Gerrett Mertens rushed for 23 yards and had a scoring plunge for Milbank. Carson Weber caught three passes for 80 yards with a touchdown reception. Sawyer Gauer caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Eli Johnson also caught a Krause pass for a touchdown. Jace Rufer led the defensive attack with two sacks and two tackles for loss.
For Webster, Jacob Pereboom completed 12 passes for 74 yards. Defensively, Jaydon Keller led the way with eight tackles. Hayden McCarlson had a sack and a tackle for loss for the Bearcats.
Spearfish 24, Douglas 6
BOX ELDER -- The Spartans picked up a Black Hills Conference and third victory of the season on Friday night.
Spearfish quarterback Jaden Guthmiller accounted for 236 of the Spartans 246 yards of offense. Guthmiller was 14 of 27 for 178 yards and a couple of short touchdown passes, and he carried for another 58 yards on the ground. Brady Hartwig tallied 11.5 tackles and recorded an interception defensively.
Douglas’ Matthew Denekamp completed eight passes for 131 yards, and Payton DeWitt rushed 12 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Florence-Henry 34, Elkton-Lake Benton 20
ELKTON -- Florence-Henry wrapped up its regular season by grinding out 313 yards of total offense in Friday’s win.
Ashton Hanson finished with 147 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Tegan Sumner completed six of 12 passes for 72 yards and one touchdown pass. The junior rushed for 46 yards and had one rushing touchdown. Ethan Paulson caught three passes for 56 yards and one touchdown.
Ryan Krog finished his night with 192 yards passing, completing 16 of 30 passes with one touchdown pass. Krog added 164 yards rushing and also scored a touchdown. Aiden Erickson caught eight passes for 55 yards. Logan Kuehl caught four passes for 69 yards while hauling in a touchdown pass.
Hamlin 28, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 20
HAYTI -- The Chargers fell behind early 12-0 before rallying for their seventh victory of the season.
The game was tied with 1:05 left in regulation, when Xander Sheehan passed to Luke Fraser for a 36 yard touchdown and the victory.
Sheehan completed 19 of his 27 passes for 319 yards passing. He chalked up three touchdown passes. Evan Stormo collected nine passes for 148 yards receiving and a touchdown. Stormo picked off an interception defensively for Hamlin. Fraser caught four passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns. He was also busy in the ground game with another 13 carries for 50 yards and another score. Defensively, Stephenson wrapped up 7.5 tackles and a quarterback sack.
Orion Albertson led ORR with 157 yards rushing on 20 carries and one touchdown. Will Matson tossed for 82 yards and a score, while rushing for another 71 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Isaac Trigstad caught 5 passes for 83 yards receiving.
Madison 35, Dell Rapids 7
MADISON -- A balanced attack and 315 yards of total offense propelled Madison to a win on Friday night.
Nate Ricke completed ten of 18 passes for 146 yards and two touchdown passes. Ricke also led the Bulldogs with 64 yards rushing while adding two rushing touchdowns. Mike Peters caught three passes for 68 yards and one touchdown. Dillon Bickett added 35 yards receiving while catching a touchdown pass. Defensively Jack Johnson had a sack and a tackle for loss.
Harding County-Bison 66, Newell 14
BUFFALO -- Harding County/Bison amassed 355 total yards and picked up a high school football win over Newell on Friday.
Cade Martian paced the offense with 79 rushing yards on four carries and scored two touchdowns. Dawson Kautzman added 61 rushing yards and two scores. Keegan Hett and Cayden Floyd both scored rushing touchdowns. Rylee Veal threw for 70 yards and a score, while Hett also had a passing touchdown. Hett added 64 yards on the ground. Floyd and Gage Gilbert hauled in receiving touchdowns. Defensively, Braden Routier had a team-high 4.5 tackles.
Newell’s Chase VanderBoom had 21 passing yards. Chase Johnston had 21 rushing yards, while Nate Randolphin had a rushing touchdown. Chase Johnston added a 72-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Jim River 52, TDA/AC/DC 27
MENNO -- The Trappers snapped a four-game slide and earned their third victory of the season with the victory over the Thunderhawks on Friday night. Jim River broke open a back and forth contest midway through the second quarter and held on for the win.
Jim River’s Dawson Bietz completed five passes for 100 yard and a score, and he scrambled another 11 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns rushing. Turner Nicholson rushed for 147 rushing yards on 17 carries and scored two touchdowns. Logan Sayler added 47 receiving yards and a touchdown reception. Treyton Sayler had 103 rushing yards and a score. The Trappers finished with 474 total yards.
Cade Faulkner had 261 passing yards and four touchdown passes for the Thunderhawks. He added 38 rushing yards. Trey Sparks hauled in 112 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Carson Koehn and Rizon Clark each had receiving touchdowns. Sparks had a team-high 8.5 tackles.
Ipswich 62, Leola-Frederick Area 20
LEOLA -- Ipswich outscored Leola-Frederick Area 32-0 in the fourth quarter and earned a prep football win on Friday.
The Tigers finished with 199 rushing yards on 34 carries. Carson Gohl led the Tigers with 90 yards on eight carries. Tyler Hettich rushed for 71 yards on eight carries. Ian Beyers threw for 213 yards on 10 of 15 attempts. Ty Kadlec hauled in 163 yards on six receptions.
Leola-Frederick Area finished with 196 rushing yards on 41 carries. Hans Lapka had 133 rushing yards on 11 carries.
Wolsey-Wessington 48, Kimball/White Lake 13
WHITE LAKE -- Eric Klanchnik rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns to power Wolsey-Wessington past Kimball/White Lake on Friday.
Keegan Haider added 46 rushing yards and two scores for Wolsey-Wessington, which had 432 total yards. Blaze Herdman threw for 86 passing yards and had a touchdown pass to Carson Zomer. Haider had a team-high six tackles. Marrian Gohn had an interception and Zomer had a sack.
For Kimball/White Lake, Holden Havlik threw for 92 yards and two touchdown passes. Ryder Michalek hauled in both touchdown receptions and finished with 49 receiving yards. Iden Myers had eight tackles, while Jacob Novak and Blake Leiferman each had a sack.
Mobridge-Pollock 57, Dakota Hills 7
MOBRIDGE -- Holden Eisemann threw for 202 yards and four touchdown passes to lift Mobridge-Pollock past Dakota Hills on Friday. Eisemann completed eight of 16 pass attempts and added a rushing touchdown.
Jackson Eisemann hauled in two touchdown receptions and had 72 receiving yards. Trent Schmeichel had 70 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Cole Wellner rushed for 88 yards, while Jackson Eisemann had 71 rushing yards and a score. Ashton Pfitzer powered the defense with 7.5 tackles and an interception. Taylon Carmody also had an interception.
Trey Jurgens threw for 14 yards, while Ben Kasuske had 72 rushing yards.
Warner 44, Northwestern 0
WARNER -- Zachary Wood rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns to lift Warner past rival Northwestern on Friday.
Hunter Cramer added 66 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Warner, which finished with 370 total yards. Cramer also threw for 60 yards. Peyton Jung caught three catches for 60 yards.
Fatahehi Faonelua rushed for 68 yards on 20 carries. He added 19 passing yards. Brandon Toennies had 15 receiving yards.

Tea Area 42, Aberdeen Central 20
TEA -- Cael Lundin threw for 194 yards and two touchdown passes as Tea Area topped Aberdeen Central on Friday.
Lundin completed 9 of 14 passes and threw both touchdown passes to Klayton Sattler, who had 86 receiving yards on four receptions. Jaxon Weber added 102 rushing yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. Chase Van Tol added a rushing touchdown and had 65 rushing yards. T.J. Krietlow had eight tackles.
Aberdeen Central’s Sam Rohlfs threw for 242 yards on 13 of 27 attempts and had two touchdown passes. Rohlfs added 71 rushing yards. Karson Carda added 141 rushing yards on 22 carries and scored a touchdown. Jacob Merxbauer had 94 receiving yards on five receptions and had a touchdown. Parker Bauer had a team-high eight tackles.
Brandon Valley 54, Mitchell 0
MITCHELL -- Jack Thue passed for 225 yards and two touchdowns as Brandon Valley blanked Mitchell on Friday. Thue completed 9 of 14 pass attempts and threw both touchdown receptions to Sam Scholten, who had 117 receiving yards.
Payton Egan, Dreavin Hodge, Delvoun Spears-Witte, Jordan Johnson and Sam Scholten each rushed for a touchdown. Egan had a team-high 98 rushing yards on 11 carries. Kyler Briest had a team-high six tackles, while Owen Warren, Max VanWesten and Joey DeWitt each had interceptions.
Mitchell’s Treyson Schulz threw for 41 yards on 5 of 20 attempts. Josh Grosdidier had 77 rushing yards on 14 carries. Jagger Tyler added 30 receiving yards. Joe VanOverschelde had eight tackles.
