CUSTER — Hot Springs’ Jaylen Nachtigall captured three individual events at Thursday’s Custer Invitational. 

She won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.88), 300-meter hurdles (:51.33) and long jump (15-10.5).

Custer’s Kellyn Kortemeyer won the shot put (46-6) and discus (146-6) with the leading throws in South Dakota so far this spring.

Douglas' Jason Maciejczak set the school record in the shot put, finishing with a toss of 59-feet and five-inches. 

Double winners for the boys were

• Sawyer Clarkson, Belle Fourche, 800 and 3,200 meters (2:05.33, 9:26.40)

• Warren Miller, Hot Springs, 110 and 300 meter hurdles (:18.05, :44.49)

• Jason Maciejczak, Douglas, shot put and discus (59-05, 156-04)

• Luca Brooks, Upton, Wyo., high-jump and triple jump (6-00, 40-11)

• Custer boys won the 400 and 1,600 meter relays (44.36, 3:38.34)

The Custer girls won the 400 meter relay (:52.35), 1,600 meter relay (4:09.88) and the sprint medley relay (4:35.90). The Wildcats also picked up individual titles in the 400 meter dash (Ramsey Karim), 1,600 meter run (Kadense Dooley) and the pole vault (Ciana Stiefel)
