Ethan 61, Howard 54

ETHAN — Ethan held off Howard for a girls basketball victory on Friday. 

Ethan’s Maddy Bartscher poured in 28 points and hit five 3-pointers. Ava Lingemann netted 11 points, while Marissa Storm logged 10 points. Anna Buenning finished with eight points.

Howard’s Kate Connor scored a team-high 13 points. Dakota Spader recorded 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Trinity Palmquist posted 11 points and Abby Aslesen recorded eight points. Rylee Rudebusch added six points. 


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 48, Burke 40

BURKE — A huge night from Megan Reiner helped Tripp-Delmont/Armour earn a road win over Burke in girls basketball action Friday. 

Reiner poured in 29 points to go along with two assists and seven steals. Mia Reiner had seven points and a team leading nine rebounds. 

Cecily Geaghan had eight points and six assists with Elly Witt also scoring six points. Kaylee Frank and Olivia Bull both scored six points while Paige Bull scored six points and grabbed nine rebounds. 


Platte-Geddes 58, Colome 26

PLATTE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Platte-Geddes to a girls basketball win over Colome on Friday. 

Karly VanderWerff and Hadley Hanson scored 11 points apiece. Karly VanderWerff and Kori VanderWerff both collected seven rebounds. Kori VanderWerff scored seven points. Baleigh Nachtigal added 10 points. Regan Hoffman recorded six steals and three assists. 

Colome’s Maura Luedke and Aleah Musser scored 13 and seven points, respectively. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 54, Winner 45

WINNER — Reagan Rus and Emilee Fox combined for 34 points to pace Mount Vernon/Plankinton to a girls basketball win over Winner on Friday. 

Rus recorded 22 points and six rebounds. Fox added 12 points, four rebounds and four assists. Kyia Schmidt added eight points and six rebounds. Cally Faulhaber scored six points. Vanessa Hoffman tallied five rebounds and five assists. 

Winner’s Karlee Brozik finished with 11 points, while Kylie Sachtjen added 10 points. Aleya Millerand Cici Watson scored six points apiece. Keelie Kuil scored five points and had four assists. Preslie Petersek grabbed five rebounds. 


Corsica-Stickney 61, Menno 30 

CORSICA — Payton DeLange and Avery Broughton combined to score 29 points to pace Corsica-Stickney to a girls basketball win over Menno on Friday.

DeLange finished with 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Broughton added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists. Sutten Eide recorded nine points and five rebounds. Sydney Spaans had eight points and five rebounds. Jacey Kemp and Braylee Bordewyk had five points apiece. 

Menno’s Ashton Massey scored 10 points and Layne Schmidt added seven points. Kaelie Derby had six points, while Lexie McNinch scored five points. 


Aberdeen Roncalli 62, Timber Lake 49 

TIMBER LAKE — Aberdeen Roncalli handed Class B No. 4 Timber Lake a girls basketball loss on Friday.

Roncalli’s Camryn Bain finished with 18 points, while Ava Hanson added 14 points. Maddie Huber scored nine points. McKenna O’Keefe and Rylee Voeller had eight points apiece. 

Timber Lake’s Carlie Lawrence scored 19 points and Shay Kraft added 18 points. 


Arlington 52, Estelline/Hendricks 33

ESTELLINE — Three players scored in double figures as Arlington picked up a win over Estelline/Hendricks in girls basketball action Friday. 

Jaelyn Huntimer led the Arlington offense with 14 points. Harley Johnson and Jo Steffensen each scored 11 points while Addie Steffensen chipped in with nine points. 

Kenzy Beare led Estelline/Hendricks with 13 points while Sadie Johnson added nine points. 


Sunshine Bible Academy 44, Potter County JV 37

GETTYSBURG — Sunshine Bible Academy had a pair of double figure scorers as the team picked up a win over Potter County JV in girls basketball action Friday. 

Abby Hinman led Sunshine Bible Academy with 11 points and nine rebounds. Annaliese Van Zee scored 11 points while Betra Amare dished out five assists. 

Dannika Kaup led Potter County with 11 points, four rebounds and six steals. Finley Hein and Jadyn Ahlemeier combined to score 14 points for Potter County. 



Herreid/Selby Area 56, Ipswich 27 

IPSWICH — Herreid/Selby Area jumped out to a 32-13 halftime lead en route to a girls basketball win over Ipswich on Friday. 

Jordyn Rossow led the way with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists. Stephanie Allbee added eight points and four steals. Pausha Meidinger recorded seven points and six rebounds. 

Ipswich’s Gabby Wald recorded nine points, while Ashlyn Weig posted six points. 


Northwestern 48, Langford Area 22

MELLETTE — A big night from Adriana Ratigan helped Northwester to a win over Langford Area in boys basketball action Friday. 

Ratigan finished with 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Wildcats. Ella Haven contributed six points and nine rebounds while Ella Boekelheide finished with six points and six rebounds. 

Megan Gustafson led Langford Area with nine points and six rebounds. Tawnee Nelson chipped in with six points. 


Flandreau Indian 50, Takini 33

HURON — A balanced scoring attack helped Flandreau Indian earn a win over Takini in girls basketball action Friday from the Dakota Oyate Challenge. 

Niyah Sierra paced Flandreau Indian with 18 points. Lucy Kohl added nine points while Angie Bull and Haley Schmieg each scored eight points for Flandreau Indian. 

Jai’enna Big Eagle led Takini with 11 points while Halo Waloke chipped in with 10 points.

 

Beresford 50, Parker 40

FLANDREAU — A balanced scoring attack powered Beresford to a win over Parker in girls basketball action Friday from the Big East Conference Tournament. 

Ella Merriman led the Watchdogs with 12 points. Lily Sievert and Harley Koth both scored nine points for Beresford. 

Terryn Fuller led Parker with 12 points. Katie Bialas added 11 points with Parker Lessman chipping in with nine points. 

 

Flandreau 51, Garretson 43

FLANDREAU — Three players scored in double figures as Flandreau knocked off Garretson in girls basketball action Friday from the Big East Conference Tournament. 

Claire Sheppard paced the Fliers with 17 points. Lizzie Pavlis had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists while Lily Klein added 13 points and eight rebounds. 

Reagan Altman, Sydney Olson and Logan Bly each scored eight points to lead Garretson. 


Tea Area 64, Madison 38

MADISON — Mara Grant’s big night helped Tea Area pick up a road win over Madison in girls basketball action Friday. 

Grant made 11-of-12 shots and finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and six steals. Kendra McKinney added 10 points and two steals while Haidyn West and Miah Weber combined to score 13 points. 

Ella Peterreins led Madison with 13 points. Zoey Gerry had seven points and seven rebounds for Madison. 


Lennox 50, West Central 38 

LENNOX — Three players scored in double figures to lift Lennox to a girls basketball win on Friday. 

Andie Peters posted 18 points on six made 3-pointers. Carli Kuyper added 14 points and six rebounds. Ryan Hanssen scored 10 points.

West Central’s Cambell Fischer and Molli Thornton scored 10 points apiece. Fischer grabbed five rebounds. 


Huron 47, Rapid City Central 40

HURON — Hamtyn Heinz and Isabelle Ellwein combined to score 31 points as Huron knocked off Rapid City Central in girls basketball action Friday. 

Heinz led Huron with 16 points while Ellwein scored 15 points. Bryn Huber and Hylton Heinz each scored five points for Huron. 

Aaliyah Jones led the Cobblers with 15 points. Leah Landry added 12 points while Tella Jiron chipped in with eight points. 


Tiospaye Topa 49, Crazy Horse 14

HURON — A balanced scoring attack helped propel Tiospaye Topa to a win over Crazy Horse in girls basketball action Friday from the Dakota Oyate Challenge. 

K’Launa Buffalo led the Thunderhawks with 17 points. Leilani Bowker scored 12 points while Kaylynn Holy Bear and Pamela Meeter each had eight points for Tiospaye Topa. 

Alyssa Brewer led Crazy Horse with six points while Amerikis Fisherman added four points. 


Omaha Nation 65, Marty 50

HURON — The Omaha Nation bench scored 27 points as the girls picked up a win over Marty on Friday in the semifinals of the Dakota Oyate Challenge.

Mikkel Parker came off the bench to lead Omaha Nation in scoring with 15 points. Tylisha Mccauley scored 11 points while Latecia Contreras and Kaelynne Wolf combined for 17 points.

Genesis Patterson scored 18 points to lead Marty. Jayla Bruguier finished with 13 points while Rozario Zephier chipped in with ten points. 


Lower Brule 62, Wakpala 25

HURON — Three players scored in double figures as Lower Brule picked up a girls basketball win over Wakpala on Friday to advance to the finals of the Dakota Oyate Challenge. 

Brilyn LaRoche and Lael Middletent each scored 15 points to power the Lower Brule offense. 

Courtney Traversie had 11 points while Jesse Estes added eight points. 

Tyrianna Hawk Bear led Wakpals with 13 points.
