Mitchell 69, Harrisburg 68 (OT) 

MITCHELL — Owen Raml’s buzzer-beater lifted Mitchell to a boys basketball win over Class AA No. 5 Harrisburg on Tuesday.

Raml finished with 25 points, 13 rebounds and four 3-pointers. Colton Smith added 20 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Owen Schelske totaled 12 points and 12 rebounds. Carter McCormick scored seven points. Collin Weier added five rebounds.

For Harrisburg, Bennett Jensen had 22 points and five rebounds. Stellen Larson totaled 12 points and 12 rebounds. David Doe had 10 points and six rebounds. Cole Kooiker had nine points. Myles Nour added seven points. 


Mahpiya Luta 100, Little Wound 92

KYLE — Class A No. 5 Mahpiya Luta outlasted Little Wound in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Riley Brave led Mahpiya Luta with 21 points, while Braiden Lunderman added 17 points.

Little Wound’s Riley Casey tossed in a game-high 43 points. 


Castlewood 49, Flandreau 47

FLANDREAU — Class B No. 3 Castlewood clipped Flandreau in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Kamden Keszler finished with 14 points and Will Aderhold added 13 points.

For Flandreau, Luke Sheppard scored 14 points. Xavier Bien totaled 12 points and five assists. Kody Kneebone had 10 points and 14 boards. 


Parkston 46, Hanson 43

PARKSTON — Brycen Bruening powered Class B No. 8 Parkston to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Bruening finished with 28 points and six rebounds. Mason Jervik added eight points and nine rebounds. Grady Bowar totaled five points. 

For Hanson, Cole Dewald finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Jett Jager added 11 points. Nate Wilber finished with 10 points. Conner Endorf posted eight rebounds. 


Viborg-Hurley 48, Elk Point-Jefferson 41

ELK POINT — Jake Austin and Brady Schroedermeier powered Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Austin finished with 22 points, while Schroedermeier added 10 points and 11 rebounds. Braydyn Morrison recorded nine points. Nolan Kolthoff added six points and five rebounds. 

For EPJ, Aiden Hammitt totaled 11 points and seven rebounds. Luke Schmitz had eight points and six rebounds. Anthony Tatro scored eight points. Brody VanRoekel finished with seven points and four assists. Jack Hayes and Owen Boyle scored five points apiece. 


Sturgis 56, Rapid City Central 51

STURGIS — Hayden Rock powered Sturgis to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Rock scored a game-high 25 points, while Jaxon Cano scored 11 points. Gage West had eight points and Jack Jolley scored seven points. Jerek Dufner had five points.

For Rapid City Central, Preston Yellow finished with 19 points and Julius Duran had 11 points. Logan Soderlin finished with eight points. Sean Smith had seven points and Weiland Benbo scored six points. 


Rapid City Christian 66, Hill City 55

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Christian held off Hill City for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Rapid City Christian’s Peyton Glenn finished with 19 points and hit four 3-pointers. Sully Kieffer finished with 13 points. Hudson Ogle had 11 points. Joaquin Petrik scored 10 points and Henry Koppmann added six points.

For Hill City, Zane Messick had 12 points and hit three 3-pointers. Dax Frandsen scored 11 points. Brensen Veneklasen had 10 points. Isaiah Brewer totaled nine points on three 3-pointers. Mason Buehler recorded seven points 


Platte-Geddes 67, Canistota 30

PLATTE — Jameson Leader and Jye Bailey powered Platte-Geddes to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Leader finished with 17 points and seven rebounds. Bailey added 13 points and four rebounds. Maddux Van Zee had nine points and four steals. Isaac Leader added eight points and eight rebounds. Landen Wright had six points.

Canistota stats were not reported. 


Northwestern 57, Ipswich 45

IPSWICH — Three players scored in double figures to power Northwestern to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Northwestern’s Ty Boekelheide had 24 points and three rebounds. Carson Ewalt finished with 20 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Talon Miller added 10 points, five assists, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. 

For Ipswich, Shay Knust posted 13 points and six rebounds. Jaxon Holt added 12 points and three 3-pointers. Josh Rausch totaled nine points and nine rebounds. Kyle Hettich posted four points, four assists and 11 rebounds. 


Gayville-Volin 61, Centerville 50

CENTERVILLE — Four players scored in double figures to power Gayville-Volin to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

GV’s Hunter Wuebben finished with 17 points. Will Fairley had 12 points and 10 boards. Preston Karstens added 12 points and seven rebounds. Wyatt Mehlhaf had 10 points.

For Centerville, Ethan Bobzin finished with 17 points and Corbin Tople added 10 points. Bo Eide had seven points and Tucker Martz scored six points. 


Estelline-Hendricks 70, Chester 48

CHESTER — Cade Hexem and Drayden Cokens powered Estelline-Hendricks to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Hexem finished with 23 points and Cokens added 17 points.

For Chester, Carter Vogel finished with 25 points and Zach Moyer totaled 11 points. JD Prorok had eight points and seven assists. Moyer added three steals. 


Leola-Frederick Area 72, Wilmot 42

WILMOT — Leola-Frederick Area coasted past Wilmot for a Tuesday boys basketball win.

LFA’s Winston Clark finished with 16 points and three 3-pointers. Erik Losure scored 14 points. Quinn Huettl had eight points and Jace Thorpe added seven points. Milo Sumption, Lucas Gulbranson and Zander Hoffman scored six points apiece. 

For Wilmot, Micah Pelzel scored 14 points. 


Britton-Hecla 53, Milbank 51

MILBANK — Jaxon Zuehlke and Will Richter powered Britton-Hecla to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Zuehlke finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Richter added 16 points. Chaz Vietor posted nine points and three rebounds. Graham Fosness had eight rebounds. 

For Milbank, Lincoln Holscher finished with 17 points and five rebounds. Ryan Keeton had 11 points and four rebounds. Sam Rick totaled 10 points and five boards. Jack Howard added seven points and 14 rebounds. Jeter Scoular had four points and five boards. 


Watertown 59, Brandon Valley 52

WATERTOWN — Four players scored in double figures to power Brandon Valley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Watertown’s Jackson McClemans scored 14 points. Carter Buisker and Jack Mack finished with 12 points apiece. Decker scored 10 points. 

For BV, Lincoln McInerney scored 20 points and hit four 3-pointers. Ayuel Deng scored nine points and Austin Dowd had eight points.
