It has been a year full of firsts for the Lakota Tech football team. First year in existence, first points scored, first homecoming game and a brand new record book for every statistical leader.

One of the new records, rushing yards in a season, might stick for a minute.

In last week's game against Hill City, junior Quincy Means racked up 208 yards rushing on 15 carries.

For the season Means has 659 yards, the second most in Class 11A prep football, according to stats compiled by 605 Sports.
