Castlewood 69, Timber Lake 43

MILLER — Will Aderhold and Kamden Keszler powered Castlewood to a SoDak 16 boys basketball win on Tuesday. The Warriors will play in the Class B state tournament on March 19-21 in Aberdeen.

Aderhold totaled 25 points, while Keszler had 21 points. Leonard Wernke added 11 points and Tyson Manley had nine points.

For Timber Lake, Kanton Hunt scored 21 points. Rance Martin had eight points and Broc Bauer added seven points. 


Lyman 59, Leola/Frederick Area 46

HURON — MJ Diehm and Dawsen Volmer combined for 37 points as Lyman powered past Leola/Frederick Area for a boys SoDak 16 win Tuesday. The Raiders will play in the Class B state tournament on March 19-21 in Aberdeen.

Diehm finished with 21 points, Volmer added 16 points, Cole Kieffer tallied nine points while Josiah Vaad added six points in the win.

For LFA, Milo Sumption tallied 13 points, Titus Kippley added eight points, Jace Thorpe totaled seven points while Westyn Thorpe and Winston Clark each had six points in the loss.


De Smet 56, Ipswich 45

HURON — Grant Wilkinson’s 24-point double-double guided De Smet over Ipswich for a boys SoDak 16 win Tuesday. The Bulldogs will play in the Class B state tournament on March 19-21 in Aberdeen.

Wilkinson finished with a game-high 24 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks, Noah Luethmers added 13 points, four rebounds and three steals, Slayten Wilkinson netted seven points, 11 rebounds and four assists while Kolby Sinclair and Carter Wilkinson each had six points in the win.

For Ipswich, Shay Knust tallied 12 points, three rebounds and three assists, Hayden Schlosser tallied 10 points and five boards, Kyle Hettich scored eight points with five rebounds while Brody Davis and Jaxon Holt each had six points in the loss.


Sully Buttes 42, Dupree 40

GETTYSBURG — Sully Buttes clipped Dupree in a SoDak 16 boys basketball Tuesday. The Chargers will play in the Class B state tournament on March 19-21 in Aberdeen.

Wesley Wittler led the Chargers with 19 points while Jett Yackley added 13 points in the win.

For Dupree, Jayden Marshall led all scorers with 16 points.
