Spearfish 53, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 45

SPEARFISH — Spearfish earned a spot in the Class AA girls basketball tournament on Friday.

Spearfish’s Mya Kochuten finished with 27 points and hit seven 3-pointers. Kate Scharf added 12 points and Jozie Dana scored eight points. 

For Roosevelt, Kalli Harris posted 19 points and Brooklyn Koll recorded nine points. Brooklyn Rose had six points and Morgan Johnson posted five points 

Pierre 46, Harrisburg 39

PIERRE — Lennix DuPris powered Pierre to a SoDak 16 girls basketball win on Friday.

DuPriss tossed in 22 points and scored her 1,000th career point. Grace Richter added 11 points and Emery Larson scored eight points.

For Harrisburg, Logan Durnil scored 12 points on four 3-pointers. Makinley Lawrenson scored 11 points and Claire McCallum had five points. 

Sioux Falls Washington 59, Tea Area 42

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures as Sioux Falls Washington punched their ticket to the Class AA state tournament with a win over Tea Friday. 

Dana Harpe led the Warriors with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Grace Peterson finished with 15 points and seven rebounds while Rylan Kennett added 12 points. 

Ellie Clayberg led Tea with 13 points and Amy Binde chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
