MITCHELL — The Pierre boys captured the team title at Saturday’s Jerry Oproek Invitational.

The Governors totaled 286.5 points, finishing ahead of Madison (242.5) and Watertown (230.5). 

Pierre’s Daniel Mason (113 pounds), Rowdy Menning (138), Alex Oedekoven (144), Jordan Schafer (150) and Porter Hunsley (165) claimed individual titles en route to the team win. 

Other individual champions were Mitchell’s Blaze Sevigny (106), Beresford/Alcester-Hudson’s Owen Serck (120), Watertown’s Brody Randall (126), Watertown’s Shea Richter (132), Parkston’s Wyatt Anderson (175), Howard’s Nolan Mentele (190), Howard’s Gabriel Martin (215) and Mitchell’s Rocky Clark (285).
