MITCHELL — Pierre captured the Region 3A boys wrestling title on Saturday.

The Governors totaled 252 points, finishing ahead of Aberdeen Central (243.5) and Madison (208). 

Pierre’s Rowdy Menning (138 pounds), Alex Oedekoven (144), Jordan Schafer (150) and Porter Hunsley (165) claimed individual titles for the Governors. 

Huron’s Noah Hofer (106), Huron’s Carter Nelson (113), Aberdeen Central’s Esten Foss (120), Aberdeen Central’s Mason Backous (126), Aberdeen Central’s Jackson Dargatz (132), Madison’s Caleb Hodges (157), Aberdeen Central’s Grayden Timm (175), Aberdeen Central’s Owen Ward (190), Madison’s Sawyer Hegg (215) and Mitchell’s Rocky Clark (285) also captured individual titles.
