One weekend of cross-country in the books and already social-media is lighting up with photos and those ever-important results. 

 

Some Big Numbers out there: 

* Sawyer Clarkson (Belle Fouche) went big in Newcastle Wyoming running a 15:33 (45 second PR). The Broncs have a young team that is only going to get better as the season progresses

* Sioux Falls Christian boys look SICK: Chargers claim top-4 spots in Beresford to stamp Luke Vander Leest's team as THEE Class A favorite.

* McLaughlin freshman Jayden Taken Alive is one to watch

Pretty good boys race in MOPO as Class B favorite Lane Krautschun opened his season with a win. McLaughlin 8th-grader Jayden Taken Alive is going to be a force this year and he beat two pretty good guys to the line. 

 

* MOPO sophomore Heidi Olson won that girls race (20:43), She was 4th in Class A last year

* The Sioux Valley girls and Clark/Willow Lake boys won team title in Deubrook. 

 

* Douglas Early Bird gives us a starting point out west
