LENNOX — The Sioux Falls Christian boys and girls cross-country teams swept titles at Thursday’s Dak-XII cross-country meet at the Lenkota Golf Course. 

The Sioux Falls Christian boys won the team title with 20 points, ahead of Dakota Valley (48) and West Central (58). The Sioux Falls Christian girls won the team title with 16 points, ahead of Lennox (42) and Dakota Valley (53). 

Dakota Valley’s Jack Brown covered the 5,000-meter course in 16:11, ahead of Sioux Falls Christian’s Jackson Prins (16:35) and Vermillion’s Gage Beverly (16:39). West Central’s Peyton Tetzlaff (16:49) and Sioux Falls Christian’s Levi Vander Leest (16:53) rounded out the top-five boys. 

Sioux Falls Christian’s Sadie Pettengill (18:28) won the girls race, ahead of Sioux Falls Christian teammates Ellie Maddox (18:42) and Jerica Glasser (18:47). Lennox’s Kelsey Schmidt (19:17) and Dakota Valley’s Alex McCulluough (19:24) rounded out the top-five girls finishers.
