Watertown's Eden Hach earns second-place finish at U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals

FARGO, N.D. — Watertown’s Eden Hach placed second and earned All-American status at the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals on Sunday.

Hach finished second in the 16U girls freestyle 235-pound weight class, falling to Iowa’s Aniyah Smith (12-9) in the championship match. Hach led by as much as 9-0 with under 30 seconds left, before Smith scored three consecutive feet-to-back four point actions to rally for a 12-9 victory. 

Also in the 16U girls freestyle, Yankton’s Winry Yaggie placed eighth in the 145-pound division to earn All-American honors. 

In the junior girls freestyle, Harrisburg’s Regina Stoeser finished eighth in the 125-pound division to secure All-American honors.
