PRESHO — The Sturgis boys won Saturday’s Mid-Dakota Monster wrestling title. 

The Scoopers finished with 331.5 points, ahead of Pierre (246.5) and Winner (205). Canton (198.5) and Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes (181.5) rounded out the top-five teams. 

Sturgis’ Tyler Baldwin (120 pounds), Parker Graveman (132), Gavin Werlinger (175), Kelson Dirk (190) and Zhoel Irion (215) claimed individual titles. Pierre’s Alex Oedekoven (144) won a title for the Governors.
