RAPID CITY — With 53 teams in attendance at the Rapid City Invitational it took a full day but the Sturgis Scooper earned the day one lead in Rapid City by advancing ten athletes to Saturday’s quarterfinals.
The Scooper have 142.5 points, ahead of Aberdeen Central (105) and Bismarck (104). Watertown (101) and Rapid City Stevens (99.5) rounded out the top five-teams.
