Marvin Richard III led Pine Ridge with 90 yards rushing and one touchdown, while passing for 102 yards and another score. Dominic Ghost Bear caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Kanye Hollow Horn led the Thorpes defense with seven tackles and a pass deflection.

Diver’s big night lifts Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa past Red Cloud

EAGLE BUTTE — Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa junior Danah Diver had a career afternoon Sept. 9, racking up 212 yards rushing to go along with four touchdowns as the Braves defeated Red Cloud, 54-18. Dayson Kennedy rushed for 75 yards with two touchdowns while quarterback Tell Murray had 150 yards passing and three touchdowns. 

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa coach Larry Elwess said Austin Johnson, Brock Dusheneaux, Nehemiah Veaux, Hunter Hawk Eagle and Levi Elk Nation were the Braves top players on defense.
