Tri-Valley’s Michael Beyer is having a superb hurdling season for the Mustangs. Beyer is ranked No. 1 in the 110-meter hurdle (:15.04) and the No. 2 time in the 300-meter hurdles (:40.22)

Belle Fouche has several athletes leading Class A lists. Aiden Giffin has the No. 1 time in the 100-meter dash (:10.74) and the long jump (23-0). Sawyer Clarkson has the leading time in the 1.600 (4:25.47) and 3,200 meter run (9:19.34). 

Milbank senior Nick Batchelor, Milbank is having a terrific senior season in a wide variety of events. Batchelor has the No. 6 time in the 400-meter run (:52.04), No. 2 time in the 800-meter run (1:57.38), No. 2 time in the Class A, 1,600 meter run (4:25.85) and No. 2 time in the 3,200 meter run (9:38.91)

The West Central boys are having success with some of their short relays. The 400-meter relay is ranked No. 10 (:45.52), the 800-meter relay, No. 2 (1:32.12) and No. 3 in the 1,600 meter relay 3:30.92. 

Keep an eye on Elk Point-Jefferson’s Joe Cross. Only a sophomore, Cross has the No. 3 time in the 3,200 meter run this year. 

Custer figures to be in the Class A title hunt this spring and the Wildcats have several throwers that are moving up the rankings. Justin Doyle improved to 50-10 and is now ranked No. 2 in the class A shot put. Teammate Dossen Elmore has the No. 5 Class A discus throw this season, 138-10.
